I've thought about doing The Sims Mafia on another site. Thought I might get some feedback on it. It would be very out of the box.

Anyways, I figured instead of one person per house like normal mafia games, you could have multiple persons in the same house, like families. Some people could be single, some people could be married with a kid, etc. And everyone would have a gender and age identification. People would go around fufilling their needs(bathroom, food, social, etc.), while trying to figure out who the mafia is. When they check the newspaper for a job, instead of a regular job, it's a mafia role, and like in the game, they get three choices. You could get relationship points with other players based on how you reacted to them when they talked to you. Sound interesting? Maybe?

There was a 50 player game run recently, I guess you could try the same mechanics as that, 100 players playing a normal game of mafia is just a bad idea.


The concept I had in mind wasn't "normal" per se. There would be lots of variations to make it more plausible.

Anyone want to review my 100 player Star Wars mafia setup? Some players may not want to play it, but I think we could get 100 players in a 30 day sign up period.

So I'm thinking about running a game, and trying to come up with ideas. I'm thinking of Meta Mafia, where I assign each player a role based on reading through their meta history. How do you think this would work?
