After a short amount of discussion, the family decides to summarily dismiss the Cook.
Wait. Wasn't she the maid?
Well no. Remember the maid is French.
Ms. Malone? Ugh! Not French.
But wait. It's a big house. It can have multiple maids, no?
Yes. But no. Cook. ok?
OK.

Everyone's famished but there's no cook or butler to serve up anything anymore.
You rummage.
Ooh! Cookie made some cookies before we fired her.
Yum!
WAIT!
The doctor and Hamworth got poisoned. Remember?
Ugh!
Feed the dog.
The beast dies.
You beasts!
Ah well.
Off to the local pub we go.

Mrs. Moone the cook has been fired.
It is night 5. Please get in choices ASAP. If they take too long, I will institute a deadline.

This deviation because I'm away over the weekend but should have access so I can dawn whenever I get choices.

With all the replacing going on I'm not certain of this, but I don't think Stewie has made a roleclaim yet. I think it's best that we hear from him before I reveal the result I received last night.

I'm Dorothy Garlock, and I'm the repairwoman, so I have the keys for all rooms. Each night, I can lock someone's room, not letting them out of their rooms.

Night one I targetted thoth, and night two I targetted kerplunk, night three jereic. I don't know what to make out of this, and I haven't used my role since -- I believe that a roleblocker should only be used if you are certain, just like the vigi. Of course, the people that previously had my role didn't think so...

Thanks.

I found JereIC to be guilty, which would indicate that he's innocent and you are the last scum.

Surely if you blocked Thoth night 1, and he claimed cop the next day, you (or big_kahunia) would have been more suspicious of him?

Yes, and I don't understand why this happened. My guess is that he did n't want to make it too obious that he had extra information... could have at least voted for him, I agree.

As suspicious as I've been of mole, and as much as I feel like he is leading us through the world's greatest Lepton gambit, and as much as I can't get past the notion that he's a second killer try to bump Stewie off to win the game, instead of going through another night, that was a pretty lame claim Stewie.

Actually, it looks like it was Yoko Kuramawho was playing your role then. And there's one weird point where, after Thoth claims day 1, YK randomly votes for mole. It seems like that would have been a perfect opportunity to randomly vote for Thoth, whom he would have known was lying then.

Yeah, I understand it's tough having to defend the guy you replaced (see me and Rick). I'm holding my vote until mole posts again.

Although what I can say is that neither yoko and bk seemed to giving the game much consideration, so maybe they were just distracted.

I have nothing to add. I think JereIC's response to my results is indicative of his innocence (he remained skeptical instead of jumping on Stewie), and I am not sure what is happening with Stewie's roleclaim and the past behaviour of his replacees, so I am going to
Vote: Stewie
.

I hope it's the right move.

Bah, I don't know what to do. First, I can't explain the behaviour of who I replaced (add to that the fact that I have the most-replaced role in the game). Furthermore, when I reread I got scummy vibes from both rick and JereIc, but mole's actions today are kinda weird. Wouldn't you expect scum to hold off voting instead of jumping on, which would be a critical mistake, specially this late in the game? Specially in a minivitional? Or course, town would do the same, but I'm just saying that you can't really use it as a way to figure who's scum and who's not.

Hmph. I really can't get over this feeling that I'm being manipulated by mole. I kind of feel like if I were jeep or mathcam, I would have picked out the giveaways and I'd be casting a no lynch vote right now, to let Stewie and mole cut each other up tonight. However, when I re-read the thread, I can't find anything close to concrete evidence. My gut has been wrong, very wrong, before, and I'm not going to trust it this time. But, you know, if mole turns out to be scum, I want to be the first to say I told you so. By 'you', of course, I mean myself.

Vote: Stewie

And mole, if you are scum, you totally get a nomination in the 2005 Scummines.

And so falls the curtain on this little presentation.
Abruptly, you say?

Well, isn't that the intrigue?
How many times have you felt something should've ended at the twist than the sappy happy ending?

Make your own ending, audience...who won?

It's late. Result when I get up and on a PC. Maybe...

I'd like to say town won because Stewie's claim makes no sense. Then again, my role PM didn't include "godchild" anywhere...

O_o Phoebus, did we win or not? :p

You know, if you say it's over, it ruins the suspense. Since I cannot do anything about it, I can just say what I was, and kill the intrigue.

I won't though.

I will say, however, that this game is a hard one to be a replacement in. This would stand wether I'm town or not, so it doesn't ruin anything.

Sound from behind the curtains:

A struggle.
A blow (to the head?)
Silent pause.
Footsteps (going up a staricase?)
Rifling (through luggage?)
