The town of Lagootany was a peaceful town until the Mafia showed up. The town didn't like having their friends get murdered so they decided to deal with it with good 'ole fashoined mob justice.

As the sun rose, the tiny town of Lagootany began to wake up. As the town came together a head count was taken. PbuG and shadyforce were found missing. The town groaned and trekked to PbuG’s home and began to search it. Inside they found what looked like to be a struggle and PbuG’s body parts in the fridge and his head in the freezer. They found a standard issue sidearm that was a favorite of Lagootany’s cops. On PbuG’s nightstand they found a Lagootany police badge. The town realized they had lost a
COP
. The town marched to shadyforce's home in very bad spirits eyeing one another with suspicions. Inside they found nothing spectacular except shadyforce lying in the kitchen riddled with 9mm Berreta bullets. The town realized that was the Mafia’s choice of gun. The continued searching but found nothing out of the ordinary. The town deduced they had lost a
TOWNIE
. The town started becoming frightened and called the town meeting.

It is now
DAY
. Discuss.

There's usually only one mafia family in a mini game, isn't there? Otherwise we would be seriously outnumbered!

My first mini played here, there was two families and a serial killer. Needless to say, i was innocent, and also the first voted.

No need to change my vote.

If there was 2 mafia families and 1 SK, wouldn't that make 5 out of the 10 people alive mafia? Not seriously outnumbered right now, but it would make a town win difficult.

Ah I guess what I meant was "outgunned" rather than outnumbered.
I'm tending towards one mafia family and one serial killer.

Mostly random votes so far. Does anybody have any information or ideas?

At this stage in the game isn't better to REPLACE the silent ones a bit, r0ver?

And coming out with information probably isn't a good idea day 1 according to some players - I'm not entirely sure why it is but it may have to do with sanity/competence.

Ideas are good though.

Alternatively just do what we'll probably end up doing and bandwagon the first person to make a mistake :)

Well I hope to scare genku into posting something if he's around ;)
And I really wouldn't mind if we eventually lynched someone who posts very little but more than the absolute minimum required by the rules. That is unless we find something better.
And coming out with information probably isn't a good idea day 1 according to some players - I'm not entirely sure why it is but it may have to do with sanity/competence.
I agree with that. Problem is that the mafia won't tell that they are mafia while the docs and cops will probably reveal their role. So we get nothing (except maybe one investigation result) and the bad guys get all the information they need.
Ideas are good though.

Alternatively just do what we'll probably end up doing and bandwagon the first person to make a mistake :)
Probably true. But with some people posting close to nothing it might be difficult to find that mistake.
