Your Mod and You
I'm never wrong. Questioning anything I do or say is a modkillable offense.
I'm human (well, sort of), much like many of you. I won't bite you (well, most of you at least). If there's something you think I did wrong, let me know. If it's a mistake about public information, ask in thread. If I made a mistake about private information, ask me via PM. Any requests, questions, or comments for me in thread should be bolded to ensure I don't miss them. I will use
green
for anything I post in thread. Don't post in green. It's my color.
Voting
Vote in the form
Vote: Playername
. The colon is not required. Using voting format to your advantage through tricks or gambits is unacceptable. Abbreviations of names are fine, as long as they're recognizable and unambiguous. Basically, I'll count your vote as long as it looks like a vote. Unvotes are unnecessary before revotes, but you can unvote if you really feel like it. If you're feeling particularly wordy, you can unvote twice before revoting for all I care, but it's unnecessary.
Lynching
Lynching a player normally requires a majority vote. In other words, if n is the number of living players, a lynch normally requires ānā + 1 votes. At deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched, even without a majority. If two or more players are tied for the most votes at deadline, whichever player was least recently below this threshold will be lynched. You may
Vote: no lynch
at any time during the game. If there ever comes a point at which the number of players not voting for no lynch would be insufficient to achieve a non-deadline lynch, the day will end without a lynch.
Deadlines, Activity, and Prodding
Each day will have a 17 day deadline, which may be extended at my discretion due to excessive replacements or if there's sufficient thread activity and a majority of players request an extension. You are expected to post at least once every 48 hours, unless you post a notice of V/LA, in which case I expect you to have done so in all your games. (Weekends only count as 24 hours towards a prod.) If you fail to post for 48 hours and have not notified me of V/LA, you will be prodded. Failing to pick up a prod for 72 hours or being prodded repeatedly will result in replacement.
Non-Threadly Communication
Your have a role PM so you know your role and to lead you to the game thread. Using your role PM or any other PM sent by the mod to try to confirm yourself or others, whether by quoting or otherwise, will result in a modkill. You may not communicate about this game with other players in this game outside of the thread unless your role says you may do so. If your role allows you to communicate with others outside of the thread, you may not quote any of this communication.
Night and Twilight
Nights will last 48 hours. If an action is not received from a player in this 48 hour span, the player will not action that night. When you are dead, you may make one contentless bah post. A lynched player is not considered dead until I post a lynch scene (the player is still lynched, just not dead). Therefore, all players, including the lynchee, may post during twilight.
Other
If you are modkilled, I reserve the right to remove your win condition at my discretion. A modkill may or may not end the day, depending on which would punish that player's faction more. You may not edit or delete your posts if you have the power to do so. You may edit or delete them if you do not have the power to do so. Basically, just don't edit/delete posts, k? If a situation arises that is not covered by these rules, I reserve the right to make a decision as I see fit.
