"Attention everyone, attention please" the head brain cell, and commander of the cell army, shouted, trying to quiet down the constant talking of the other cells. It didn't work. They kept talking, and it got louder and louder inside hasdgfas's head. Suddenly, a loud whistle from the front of the room quieted everyone down.

"Thanks, thank you, Number Two. I appreciate the help in calming everyone."
The 12 cells turned to face the commander.

"All right, we have a problem. If you look at these charts, you see that brain activity has lowered to dangerous levels. We believe that malignant forces are attempting to take over the brain and replace its thoughts with their own. They are probably among us, but you 12 are the best of the best. We have given you all codenames that you can refer to the others as, without knowing their actual identities. We believe that together, we can figure out a safe way to determ-"
He quieted suddenly, as the ground began to shake around them, and the lights went off. They came back on, and the commander and Number Two were gone. They knew that only one thing could be done. They had to remove the cells attempting to take over. The obvious choice was going to the truth center of the brain, but these cells didn't think of that. Instead, they thought it was a great idea to violently destroy any brain cells the majority decided were malignant.

The game to save a mind had begun....

Rules:
Behavior:
1) This is a game. Please try to act in a respectful manner towards everyone.
2) Play to win, but also to have fun. See rule 1.
3) Try to keep the profanity to a minimum. I don't mind a bit, but keep rule 1 in mind.
4) Do not quote any communications with the mod or other players. If you have a question about whether something is acceptable, ask me.
5) You may not talk about this game outside the thread unless your role allows. There will be a QT for dead players to discuss the game in once they're dead.
6) Do not edit or delete your posts if you are somehow able to. There are reasons for this, which I will explain if necessary. If I catch you, you will be modkilled.
7) Do not mention any QuickTopics you may or may not be a part of. You may paraphrase discussions that you had, but don't mention a QT(Rule 4).

Activity Levels and Prods:
8) I expect everyone to post approximately every 72 hours. Failure to do so will result in a prod. The more I prod you, the less I will like you, and more likely I will be to replace you.
9) Not picking up a prod within 72 hours will result in replacement.
10) If you expect to be V/LA for a bit, please let me know so I don't prod/replace you.

Voting, Lynches, and Deadlines:
11) Please vote in bold, such as

You do not have to unvote when changing votes, although it might be helpful. You may use nicknames and acronyms when voting, as long as it is clear exactly whom you are referring to.
12) A lynch will require a majority of available votes. Once a majority is reached, no further votes/unvotes will be counted.
12.5) You may vote to no lynch. No lynch will require enough votes to make it impossible for the town to lynch anyone else. For example, if there are 20 people alive, it will take 11 votes to lynch, but only 10 votes to No Lynch because no majority can be reached on anyone else.
13) Days will have a deadline of 3 weeks. If you reach deadline without making a decision, no lynch will occur.
14) Posting in twilight(aka the pre-final vote count of the day time) is acceptable, for both the lynchee and everyone else. Feel free to post as much or as little as you want of anything.(Large amounts of non-game-related material may be deleted, but some fun discussion is all right.)
15) Once your death scene is posted, you may make only one "Bah" post. Make sure it has no game relevant information, or someone on your team will be punished for your screw-up.
16) You may request a vote count at any time in the thread or via PM. Please do not spam requests for them every other post
17) All deadlines will be at 11 PM Eastern on the day of the deadline

Miscellaneous:
18) All night actions will be due within ~72 hours of nightfall. Actions not received by deadline are either randomized or nonexistant, depending on my mood.
19) If you fake breaking a rule, it will incur the same punishment as actually breaking the rule.
20) If you believe I have made a small mistake, for example, in a vote count, please point it out in thread. If you have a more serious grievance for some reason, PM me. Leave it out of the thread.
21) My word is final. If you have a problem with it, see rule 20.
22) I reserve the right to add rules if something comes up that I do not expect.
23) The town win condition in all PMs is some variation of "You win when all bad brain cells have been destroyed"

- weee dead QT
- profanity is not good
- min. activity req. = every 72 hours
- unvotes aren't required
- no lynch is 50% rather than simple majority
- 1 bah post, no game-related stuffs
- 72 hour nights

Oh, of course it's neither the content of the questions nor the content of the answers that help - it's all about the discussion. I still think it's much more favorable to talk about something more concrete than it is to blindly vote for people until somebody cracks or slips, especially in this group.
