Prologue
 
      It was June 12, 2000. It was 7:34 PM. It was a crystal clear night with a full moon. That was the day I almost died.

 My family was driving home after spending the afternoon at Pizza Palace. We went since it was my birthday, and I spent the entire afternoon hiding in the ball pit from Rodney the Pig. He was the "mascot" of the place and he freaked me out. It was also my sister's birthday. Yes we were twins. We were both turning 4 and my family wanted to do something special. They invited all of our family members and our friends from Pre-Kinder.

After we left we were driving home. My mom was driving and my dad was staring out the window. Since I had been hiding in the ball pit all night I never ate anything so my parents brought along a few slices of pizza for me to eat on the way home. So I ate those pizzas while my sister fell asleep hugging her new stuffed dog. It was a blue dog with a white stomach and bright purple eyes. She chose it out herself and I chose a brown monkey with a gray stomach and soft blue eyes. Somehow I was attracted to the blue eyes. They seemed to pop out at me.

On the car ride home my parents would occasionally speak to each other. It was such a long time ago I could barely remember what they were saying. I could barely make out my mom saying, "What if the find us?”

I heard my dad reply, "Should we move again?”

 Absolutely everything to protect our kids."

 I remember asking, "Are we playing Hide & Seek again? Who's looking for us?"

My mom, almost instantly turned around and said, “No one is looking for us, honey.”

“Mom and I are just joking around” my dad said after. While they were talking to me they didn’t notice that they were approaching cliff until I announced, “Where did the road go?”

Everything happened quickly. My parents instantly turned around to notice the Earth had disappeared under the car and they were freefalling into the ocean. My dad unbuckled his seatbelt and jump to the back. He started saying something but I couldn’t hear what it was. Than all of a sudden I found myself drifting asleep.

 When I woke up my parents were gone. My sister and I were floating on her stuffed dog, drifting toward the shore. My sister was still asleep when I awoke, and moving around didn’t make things better. While waking up I accidentally pushed her into the ocean. I didn’t know that I should save her so I let her go. I went back to sleep and awoke in a place I have never seen before. I saw other kids probably older than me sleeping on bunk beds. I looked around ‘till I noticed a clock. It was 4:29 AM. I drifted back to sleep.

           Oh it is the Prolouge for my story.
