Hello. I really do like mafia/werewolf games. (I love the depth and the roleplay aspect of them)

My only problem is I'm terrible at lying and being convincing. I've tried playing other online versions of it but they're a too fast paced and I can't really think that well on the fly. I don't think I'm much of a strategist either.

I guess the best way to get better is to fail miserably a couple dozen times first.

One thing I like about ms is that the day phases are pretty slow here so we have time to think things through and don't have to do it on the fly.

I have never yet had to lie as scum (beyond trivial stuff like "i'm town"); it's just never come up that I had to take a position my townself didn't believe in.

oh hey is this my first post in this thread? well i'm probably still new enough to say hi :)

That's the best way to play as scum. That's how I try to play anyway.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site but have played forum mafia extensively at another site. Interested to go back to the source, so to speak, and see how things are done around here.

This here is a classic example of
projection
. You think the dog needs glasses when in reality your eyesight is so bad that you can't even recognize the underwear in the picture!
