Ok so 33 and 35 could possibly be shotty not thinking but ring some alarm bells as the 1 dead townie no dead scum is an obvious conclusion and when it is reached he has no argument. 37 is this whole, random no reasons hey look its a scum don't pay attention to me when I just slipped post. Sets alarm bell ringing quite a bit. Post 50 is a complete repeat of post 37 and thus does nothing to assuage my alarms of him and bumps him to suspect numero uno. yabba's first post i've argued a whole bunch so Ill stop going into it for now, don't think I don't have my eye on him though. Cheeses 63 reeks of opportunism to me, I understand people might see my suspicion there as warped due to his opportunism begni directed my way but I asure you this is not the case. The vote on nobody however is just the most horrible post made in this game so far. In a game where you cannot lynch town there is no reason EVER to vote no lynch. EVER. The fact that he fails to see that is again a huge alarm light to me.

I'm also having major alarm bells being set off by DMG. It would be nice if you could engage with some of the players in the game besides cheese. Your recent problems with whatami have been abandoned I see. Now tunneling is not, I think, inherently a scum property, but you haven't just got one scum read that you're sticking to, you're utterly ignoring everything in the game except cheese.

Are you saying you find whatami the scummiest player? If so why not vote for him, that you'd keep voting for shotty while having a higher suspect makes it seem like you're just happy to be on the biggest wagon, and I'd find that more suspicious if I didn't already find shotty to be so scummy.

Wagonning is not a scumtell, it's the whole damn point of the game. Aside from that, the reason for sticking on shotty is that he's more of a utility lynch; since he's perpetually anti-Town, he'll provide benefits to Town if he's dispensed with even if he's a mislynch, albeit lesser benefits.

That's an overstatement. I think it's suboptimal to have no suspicions, but there's no deadline in view, so scum realistically don't have a reason to do "tactics" like Cheese's on purpose. It's simply inaccurate.

Who the hell said I was stalling? Voting nobody in a game with no VT lynching is essentially abstaining (until three others do it as well (which won't happen)). And so long as there is CONTENT-FULL discussion, deadlines won't happen in a while. Sure, a deadline will eventually come. The key part of that, though, is that it will

eventually

come. It's not like it's around the corner. It's like saying one should yell at me because I'm not getting fireworks for Fourth of July.

You're all nuts. You're nuts for thinking that a natural result of townies utilizing their votes in an effective manner is a scumtell. DMG for posting in an annoyingly aloof style which fails to explain the subtle distinction between what's newbieness, Cheese's scumminess, and shotty's townieness (yay, you've posted other player's names! now add some content and you're almost there!). yabba is nuts for thinking it is completely unsuspicious to pursue a policy lynch when there is plenty else to look for. Seriously, if you don't think shotty is scum don't vote for him. I don't want to waste day one. I agree, shotty is completely worthless. But Day 1 wouldn't get much done (or be exciting at all) if all we did was just wagon him to a lynch, ya know?

- In any game, to lynch requires a majority of votes. In order to attain a majority of votes, you have to vote alongside others, also known as joining a wagon. Town need to get scum lynched to win. Therefore, the act of wagoning itself is not a scumtell. There's a difference between scummy wagoning and town wagoning, although I'm not experienced enough to have a good explanation of that difference for you.
