So, I got the Perfect Size achievement .... While building a 19x19 layer of cobble filling in my ceiling.

Davro, I owe you a few iron ingots and a couple apples. Also ... One of my precious head hats has been hung up in your spawner. Hope the decoration is okay. Also, I found out water kills blazes. So maybe have a second lever to release water that kills the blazes and pushes the items to a collection point?

I started playing on vanilla. Found a sweet canyon, so I'm building a canyon home.

There are some nice builds near spawn - is there anywhere else in particular that people have built cool things for me to visit?

I'm a little ways from spawn but I never did build anything cool yet. M/Klaz/Maru are about 1000 blocks away near the ocean they have some cool stuff going on. There's river access all the way there if you follow the river by spawn. Boats are cool now (see thread title). I might try to get back on and play some starting this weekend. Haven't been on for a while. Did anybody ever even slay the ender dragon yet?

Nice! Hoping to see you over the weekend. Boats are indeed cool... I'm now on the boat network (a little jetty on the lake south of spawn has a path leading to my canyon).

I'm not sure whats happening. But buckets in my boiler system are disappearing. The buckets are pulled from the boiler in wooden transport pipes into a liquid transposer that then output them into the boiler. When I watch the system the liquid transposer doesn't output if the boiler is full. And I've not once found a bucket on the ground or anything. Anyone know what could be causing it?

Anyone know if we have a skellie spawner on vanilla? I'm happy to set up an arrow/xp farm on one, but can't find one anywhere.

I know where a spawner is not far from me that hasn't been grinderized yet. I think M has a grinder somewhere but I don't know where. That said, there's a blaze grinder for XP and infinity bows are pretty easy thanks to auto-fishing contraptions. Though I suppose bones/bonemeal still make skellie grinders worth it. And tipped arrows I guess, since they're not infinite.

Cool - if you are happy for me to grinderise the one near you (and therefore me I think... going by the nether, we're close), could you check the coords or show me some time? I may get infinity bows and farm blazes one day, but I could use the bones as well and rather liked making the farm

There is a water-based skellie farm not far from spawn. Suppose it would be worthwhile to build a real access to it given there is interest.

I do indeed have a piston-trapped non-XP grinder set up around a Skeleton Spawner just north of our cove in the woods. Kinda hard to find, not very well marked (on purpose, it's a WIP) but I could hop on and show it off sometime if you feel like improving on it, Fishy. Good to see more old farts out and about.

I'm on most UK evenings if you have time to hop on and show me. I'm also planning to have a bit of a binge this coming weekend (maybe build something shiny; I'm just getting to the "I have everything I really need" stage). Would be great to see some of you around!

I have this thread bookmarked and I check my MS bookmarks relatively frequently, so just post here (or ping me on IRC) if you're around and I'd be more than willing to hop on. If you do modify the one I've already kinda-sorta-manipulated, you should know beforehand that you would probably be better off cutting out most of what I already have in place and starting with a clean spawner zone to do with as you choose. Could even be remade to work with XP, but that's your choice. I'd love it if people had more reason to come down-river towards us!

I struck out in a random direction in the nether, and bumbled straight into the fortress with the blaze grinder. Very nice blaze grinder!
