Mini 157: The Long Winter - Game Over.

Winter was weighing heavily on the inhabinants of Frigid Waters. Well, the inhabinants who refrained from moving south at the first sign of snow. It was a particulary cold winter, with many feet of snow restricting travel, though the townspeople are able to go from house to house.

The short, grey days have taken their toll, and cabin fever afflicts many. No one suspected how bad it had gotten until the local grocer was found in the town square half frozen and completely dead in a snow bank. Multiple sets of footprints were found around the corpse. It seems that several have cracked and are taking it on the town. The town must act to stop this.

The snow falls softly as sun rises over the town. Just the sort of morning you want to bury yourself deep under your blankets and go to sleep. Alas, the town's morning is shattered as a blast sounds acroos the fallen snow. Everyone jumps out of bed and into their winter wear. Outside, the find an inferno where EnPaceRequiescat's house stood. The town sprung into action, but it was too late. EnPaceRequiescat was dead and his house was a cinder.

Poking around the ruins, you find several guns. The town becomes hopeful; maybe this was one of the killers? As a gaurded optimisim grew, someone fournd a half-burned membership card by the road. It was to the Frigid Waters Gun Club. Looks like he was just a twon member.

That's what I thought until I you put it in writing. I suppose he could be a collector who checks people at night and if they have a gun he swipes it, effectively taking over their role (vig, sk, cop, maf), or someone who sells guns at gun shows and is checks his customer records each night, but that would be a gun dealer. You're probably right, but it really is a moot point now.

I'm going to change my vote to join up with someone who didn't indicate that their vote was random.

Not sure if the point is moot though. If he was a vig then we probably dont have any other townies with a night kill. If hes not then we may.

I don't disagree with the suggestion, but that looks like an attempt to wheedle an alibi if there is a gun checker in the game.

Are you saying Xanthe is trying to prep a "gun enthusiast no 2" claim or a "gun checker" claim. Neither seems all that likely to me.
