The day felt like it went on forever. You sit around the campfire, and notice something that isn't quite right. A man sits over on the edge of the campfire. He looked like a normal guy in a plaid shirt and khakis, but he said something that caught the attention of everyone there. You circle him...






..and he just talks. On and on.

"Well, you know, guys, I thought about what's been going on and I really don't think that you guys have the right idea. I mean, here I am, sitting here, minding my own business and here are these two guys and they're doing thisandthatandthisandthatandthisandthat. How could you EVER compare me to those guys? Well, I'm going to prove my worth to this island, yessiree, and when I do, everyone's going to look on and look up to me and I'll lead everyone to victory! It'll happen. So, let me go back to the first day and explain how this all happened. See, when I came to this island and I met you guys, I had the best intentions of enjoying my vacation. I didn't know any of this was going to happen, what with the shootings and gougings and hungry wolves and whatnot. I mean, psh, it's WEREWOLF ISLAND! How was -I- supposed to know that there are wolves on this island? It's not like there was a warning sign or anything..."

You reach into the emergency supplies bag.

"...and when I came here and I saw that there have been some sort of wolf running around killing people, I thought to myself, I thought, "Well, that's not a very nice thing to do! I think I should help these poor people fend these guys off!" Not once did I think of doing something bad! My family has this specific code of honor, see, and when we see people in distress, we're sure to help out! Yes sir! Did I ever tell you once that my dad saw a car accident on the side of the rode and he stopped to help him out? That guy was bleeding and everything! Well, he managed to pull him out before the flames engulfed him and got him to a hospital and EVERYTHING! Man, it was great! But really, us Mastins know when to help people out and this really is a situation..."

You take out the flare gun.

"...where help is need! Mr. Mastin is on the scene, yes I am! When I'm here, you know that the help has arrived! Like this one time, I was at a restaurant, see, and this woman was sitting right across from me at this table. Well, I sat there and admired her, but she ate some shrimp and started choking! Well, I wasn't just going to sit there and watch her choke to death. Not on my watch! I went over and I gave her the heimlich and some CPR and she ended up surviving! And it was all because of me, Mr. Mastin! Yes sir! Now, can any of you guys do that? I bet you can't! Did you know that I also went to school and got a degree? I'm certified in a ton of things, but I also have a degree! I went to a medical school, see, and I can't be a bad guy because doctors are NEVER bad guys! I swear it! Like, this one time, I had a patient in the ER and he was badly burned in some bizarre cooking oil accident. Well, I sat at his bedside everyday until..."

You walk over in front of him.

"...he managed to get better. I even let his family down VERY slowly and softly and they thanked me for everything! Me! Do you realize how warm that felt? And I felt like I had a lot of purpose, too! How could you even accuse such a great man like me of doing rotten things like this? It's almost unfathomable. Well, let me tell you another story and I think you'll really like this one. You throw down the flare gun, walk over to his hut, find a gun and plans of a theme park. He's another member of the mafia. You also find some first aid kits around; He was a very knowlegable man who knew how the human body worked.

For the rest of the day, you burn his body in the fire. You roast marshmallows over it and settle down for the night, trying to get a good nights sleep.

Flavor

You wake up a little bit late and walk outside of your hut. The day is beautiful after the killing of the mafioso. You stretch and take a look around...

...these people aren't even trying to be subtle any longer.

Slaxx, a teenager from the city, sits up against a palm tree. He had been slashed across his face. His hoodie has been ripped open at the chest and his guts lie all over the sand. You sigh in frustration. This is getting old.

It takes you a half hour, but you finally drag Slaxx's body over to the lounge where everyone hanging out, watching TV and waiting for you. The sight of the body gains a collective groan from the crowd as they start the deliberations once again.

Flavor

As Slaxx's body is disposed of, and the arguments continue on, a fight breaks out between two of the vacationers. Fists fly, and you feel like you've had enough of this. As soon as the fighting is finished and the two people are held back, you stand up and announce that you should actually take the time to salvage any little bit of vacation time that you and everyone else has until another boat comes by. You don't want everyone dying of heart attacks.

Everyone else agrees. You and the rest of the vacationers go sit on the beach, in the shade. This has been way too much stress; you came here to get AWAY from your daily stress and you just happen to run into more. Everyone needs a break.

After the sun goes down, you start a campfire and sit around it. After some time, everyone heads back to their huts due to exhaustion, and the campfire turns from only a dimly glowing ember to nothingness.

You have decided to No Lynch. It is now Night 7. Consider the quicktopic(s) open. Deadline for night actions will be Wednesday, June 15 at 11:00 AM EDT. Once again, if everyone PMs me and wishes night to end, I'll end it early.

You wake up from your peaceful sleep and walk outside of your hut. It's eerily quiet. After all...the population on this island has been dwindling down to nothing due to these murders. You can't wait for the boat to arrive to take you off of the island.

As you walk towards the tiki bar to get yourself a drink, you see something. You stop and groan in annoyance. Thomas Zepher, better known as Mr. Zepher, lay on the floor behind the bar. He was an older gentleman who lived in a farm, saving up his money to take this once in a lifetime trip.

4 other people show up and they are annoyed as well. You shrug, and drag the body out next to a tree. You're starting not to care about what happens to you any longer. This is just never going to stop until all of these tireless, wicked murderers are dead. You accuse the first person you see, and the arguments start again. You think to yourself, "Why didn't I just save up for Jamaica? Note to self: Never buy a timeshare ever again."

The day went on much longer than usual this time. There has been a lot of debating, and it's been a week since you started this vacation...you and everyone else decided to end this here and now, even if it took all night. You all stand around the sandy beach as the sun set, accusing each other. As the moon started rising, the majority of you have chosen ConSpiracy, the quiet young student from Maine, as the lynch for that day.

You stand around and eye everyone one last time before the lynch occurs. Everything freeze frames for a moment, strangely enough. dramonic leads ConSpiracy up to the makeshift gallows. He was older, with a wise look on his face, clad in shredded clothes under a cloth robe. singersigner, a friendly woman from England clad in jeans and a blouse, stands fearful next to a tree, with her head in her hands. Finally, you're standing next to Powerrox, a man from suburban New Zealand. Rather close to home for you AND him, seeing as Werewolf Island is only a few kliks away from mainland New Zealand. You actually feel like you know him somewhat...and then everything starts moving again.

Everything is quiet. You slowly look over to Power and notice something.

He starts to shake and turn pale. He turns to the rising moon.

Everything stays silent as ConSpiracy is led up to the noose. It's fitted around his neck; the chair underneath him is kicked away and he dies in solemn sadness.

Meanwhile, Powerrox starts to grow hair and teeth. He pukes onto the sand. He rears his head back; everyone turns to look at him.

You stand there, completely emotionless. Where is your hearing? And why aren't you scar-

Suddenly, it hits you too. You start to sweat. And then the super-sensitive hearing kicks in. You become itchy and fall to the ground. Breathing heavily, you feel completely nauseous from the shock. However, you manage to choke it down, and it soon turns to hunger. You stand up on all fours and look at Power. He looks back at you. You're both fully grown werewolves.

Everyone stares at the both of you. And then they all shriek.

You dart off and jump onto singersigner, who goes down without an attack. You rip out her throat. Your hearing catches dramonic's chanting.

"

Filiolus, tribuo mihi vires ualeo afflict illa gentilitas per morbus a nex. Permissum vestri mos flo per mihi ut loco an terminus ut patientia a.....

"

He doesn't get a chance to finish. Power quickly turns around and tackles him, stopping him in dead silence. He bites into his stomach, spilling his intestines.

You look at each other. Each of you are covered in blood.

You communicate in barks and howls.

"Did....did I forget any of this even happened? How DID this happen?"

"Did you not notice the scratch on your leg?"

"I was too panicked to pay attention...I thought I scratched it on a branch..."

"It's alright. It takes a while to get used to your new consciousness; you've been running around for days in just pure rage. This really isn't that bad. Are you going to finish that?"

He motions to singersigner's half-eaten body.

"In a bit. I feel more energetic than usual, so I'm going to take a run."

"That's fine, I'll be here."

You turn to walk away. You're happy that YOUR island wasn't taken over by tourists, or captialized by scheming, evil men. Though you're sad that the extra meat will never meet your stomach, you're glad that you get the privacy to roam about.

But that reminds you..

"Say....before I go, when is the next batch of tourists coming in? I want more where this came from."

"Next week." he says, with a fangy grin.

"Great!" you say, and trot away towards the forest. You can't wait for the feast that awaits you and your new friend.

My notes. I had this huge thing typed out and then I lost it, so I'm abridging this one:

1. Jindori's modkill: It's one thing to play towards your wincon by outing your role. It's another thing to out your buddy's role to the EXACT NAME out of spite. I think that there was a point where I was fearful for what he was going to do next, so I modkilled him for doing that without Power's permission. He needs to play towards his win condition next time when he has more experience, because there's a fine line between injecting WIFOM and outing buddy roles to the exact name. I was saddened by this and I felt bad that I was essentially crippling the wolves' chances of winning.

2. gorilla's modkill: It was an amicable modkill between the two of us. I invite him back for any game that I mod in the future. That said, I noticed something. The NEWEST post of each thread is in complete black. Every past post is in grey. So yes, TECHNICALLY, you can still see it as sort of a "bold". However, the intent (and was once the case) is that it would be completely invisible unless quoted. That counts as a hidden message and under "other trickery" in rule 5, so I stand by that kill.

3. mastin's play: There are people that were calling for his modkill. It's like you guys have never seen failed bussing and a bad fakeclaim before. Nothing of his play was modkill worthy; everything he did was for his faction, even if it was failed play. He even nearly had town convinced and I applaud his effort.

4. Balance: I'd like thoughts on it. I thought it was wonderfully balanced (watcher/roleblocker is nearly as balanced as tracker/doctor).

Finally...

If you don't applaud the wolves for their effort, I don't even know. I will be nominating them for a scummy.

Think of it this way:

-Modkilled player on their team on Day 1.
-Role outed on Day 1
-Up against another faction, town AND a bulletproof SK.
-Up against a competent playerlist

They basically slaughtered their way through 8 days, 21 people and THREE MONTHS. And I think it's one of the greatest comebacks in mafia history.

On one final note, you guys are going to kick yourselves. I think that the one defining flaw in the wolves' play was one single post from Power back on Day 6:

Why would you risk losing a town PR when we have

something to gain from keeping him alive?

Such as more NK's when it's pretty obvious that mastin2 is scum! No thanks!

Like, the answer to the question as to "why there would be more NKs, and how he would know that"

Otherwise, it was a fantastic game, and I hope you all enjoyed it. I really wanted my modding to shine and be one of the best on this site, so I welcome ANY and ALL criticisms and praise on my modding.

I thought that the town was lacking on physical stopping power. Other than a Jailkeeper, there were informational roles. So I wanted some sort of scum trap, especially near endgame, as a kicker.
