The Spoil a Wish game

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Wed Feb 23, 2005 3:53 pm

Post by pwnz »

The point of this game is to wish for something that sounds really cool. Easy enough, right?

It gets more complicated for the next poster, however; your job is to logically tell the person before you why their wish would be stupid. So, for Instance:

Wish:
I wish i had my own jet plane!

Response:
Granted, you could have your own jet, but it would be piloted by a drug addict, and you would crash into a mountain.

Then, you must make another wish. The cycle goes on.

Enjoy, and I'll start it off.

I wish I had a robot that would do all my homework for me.

Granted, you could have a robot do all your homework for you, but it would do all the problems incorrectly, and for the essays, it would plagiarize them off the Internet. And then you would fail school, become a dropout, and become a drug addict driving jets.

I wish Windows (TM) would never crash.

Granted, but that robot would need alchahol, or otherwise it would get rust shadow and act drunk, so you'd have to spend a fortune on booze to keep it sober enough to do the homework, and you'd become broke! (also it'd brobibly have a really jerky ttitude and mess up your TV.) (Couldn't come up with something so tragic as the example. Sorry, Couldn't resist plagerizing one of my favorite shows. :) )

I wish I had a computer program that would tell me the best strategy for mafia, no matter what side I was on. :)

Darn. DMI must have posted while I was having trouble posting. Could a mod delete the two guest posts?

Granted, but then the tech support people would lose their jobs and microsoft would lose about 1/2 their revenues and go out of business. No more microsoft.

(See my wish above, shouldn't be hard to miss :) )

Well, Foolster -- you've used up
your
three wishes. Kinda seems like you would've gone for different stuff rather than the same thing thrice... :?

Granted, but then mafia would become boring since you would just be voting for IS all of the time. :)

I wish I could stay home all day and play video games while getting paid lots of money to do so.

Granted, but you wouldn't have any time to vote for IS.

I wish I had a double-decker bus, like the ones in Britain.

Granted, but it will only drive on the left hand side of the road - you(not knowing this) take it out for a drive, and immediately get into an accident killing an innocent bystander, and getting sued for everything you own.

I wish I didnt require sleep to be refreshed every night.

Granted, but you'll spend nine hours every night incredibly bored. In order to stave off the boredom, you'll start going for night-time drives, and one day you'll drive past a jewellry shop just as a bunch of thieves are running out. You'll stop to look, and be arrested as the getaway car driver.

I wish I was invulnerable.

Granted, that's easy, but multiple choice tests - unfortunately - do not work like that (in this case, you should have listed alternating "B" then "D" and "C" for every question.)

Someone else make a wish.

Granted. However wishing for infinite wishes can only imply that you want to make every wish that could be possible. So, every wish you could possibly make is granted all at the same time. And since one of those wishes would be to undo every wish you ever make, Nothing Happens.

I wish for a racing camel.

Granted. Unfortunately it is in Saudi Arabia, where you, being not Muslim, are put to death. (In the event that you happen to be Muslim, well, gambling is of the Great Satan, so you get put to death for that instead.)

I wish for the Messiah.

Half-granted; you get what you believed was the Messiah, but he turned out to simply be a very naughty boy.

I wish for knowledge of the mathematical proof or disproof, delete as applicable, of both the Reimann hypothesis and the Goldbach conjecture.

Granted, but then the awesomeness of the answers overwhelms your mind with many new questions and you become an obsessed hermit who doesn't sleep and lives on an odd combination of mountain dew, charleston chews, raspberry sherbet and diet cherry vanilla dr. pepper, this also means that you won't waste your valuable time explaining your newfound discoveries to others and thus everyone has written you off as a wasted drunkard whom used to have potential

I wish I had a really big trout and i could use it to slap people over the Internet.

Granted, but trout aren't at all sanitary, and yours would eventually rot. Before long, you will have contracted a horrifically virulent strain of Ebola. You would die from internal hemorrhaging and everyone that you've come into contact with would have to be quarentined. It's quite likely that someone would escape, however, and soon the entire world would be ravaged by the incurable disease.

I wish I could fly.

Done, unfortunately, you also qualify as a "man of the internet" and thus, every time you slap somebody, you get slapped as well almost instantaniously.

Just barely! :D

As for your wish, it's granted, but it only applies to the far away planet of Gurumbia, where the air is poisonous and all the people have noses bigger than their feet because of it's natural air filters.

I wish roland would stop beating me.
