Life in Cranston City is good in the summer. But this year outlaws have apparently infiltrated your town. Killing honest citizens, they strike without mercy. Now is the time for action, this situation cannot be tolerated. One hombre pulls out a rope and tosses it over a tree. It's time to see whose time is up.

As the light began to dawn over Cranston City, Puzzle waits in an alley glancing both ways and becoming more and more nervous as he waits for...what? Then suddenly he relaxes as Swinkee starts walking down the street. Swinkee is the one to be nervous, having to walk through the town at night with who knows what waiting around the corner; in this case: Puzzle. Puzzle calls out and Swinkee turns towards him as a shotgun blast knocks him off his feet. Another blast for luck and Puzzle, chuckling, turns to go back up the alley. His smile freezes as another faces him,

"I say there, that's not polite," comes the voice from the darkness," As Puzzle pulls the trigger of the shotgun to no avail, he remembers he wasted both shots on Swinkee. He goes for his pistol but a bullet from the stranger silences him. As he falls to the ground, he utters,

"I knew one shot was enough..."

Swinkee, townie, has been brutally murdered
Tom Farley (Puzzle), Mafia, has been shot down in an alley

It is now Day 1. With 10 alive it takes 6 to lynch.

Howdy Pardners! I would do a random vote, but any truely random vote would probably put someone at 2 votes, and I dun wanna do that yet. How about we hear from Dranko, the only person who hasn't posted yet!

My vote was truly random. On the outside chance that someone else's was not, I will randomly change my vote to someone who already has one, just to get something going.

Just to get something going? I'm trying REALLY hard not to jump to conclusions here... but does anyone else find this statement suspicious? (If not, just chalk it up to my being not very experienced yet, I'll get it eventually)

Single random votes are powerless. That's just my way of placing a 'double' random vote. If we just spread the votes around so that everyone has one we get nowhere. And for all I know, Herbert West had reason to vote for Bamboomancer, not that I want him to confirm one way or the other.

I guess since you already said that you're afraid to place a second vote on someone, you would be alarmed that I just did. Don't worry, he's still four votes away from a lynch.

There is really nothing suspicious about putting a second vote on someone when it takes 6 to lynch. As much as fun as it's been to post in this style we weren't really making much progress. Adding more votes and seeing the reactions is a good way to conjure up conversation. We don't have much to go on on the beginning so anything to talk about it good, and two votes won't put anyone in much danger....unless there is a four member mafia group all ready to post quick votes.

Many times at the beginning of the game, voting randomly for everyone will get the discussion going. In this game, it is like we are starting from scratch because when one person was voted for, they simply voted for someone else without saying much more (I did this as well.) So second random votes on people is not a bad idea.

I'm not ACTUALLY complaining, just havin some fun. I know random votes early game is normal.

So far all I can go on, being extremely new, is that one of the Max's must perish.

And that's not a good reason for much of anything!
