Oh, I still think it was the best move for the town to leave both claimed cops alive, in both theory and practice. With more investigations coming in from MN, it gave Haylen fewer viable targets to scan. Perhaps people disagree with me on this, though.

Updated. I
think
I got the ones we missed from the crash thanks to Tierce, but it's possible some slipped through. Feel free to renominate in that case.

Okay. Should be up-to-date including pre-crash nominations. I still may have missed some. The majority of nominations were through the archived Scummies thread (thanks, Tierce), so most of the links on the front page will go there for now.

Also note that Smooth Operator is now a Body of Work award, meaning that judges will now consider the year's game history by a mod in giving the award. Links to individual games in a nomination are still appreciated and helpful!

I have a funniest role claim nomination in the original thread (or 2?) depending on how you want to seperate it (they're 2 seperate claims so)

Not sure if Tierce/Feysal etc need to be nominated since they already won the scummy a year early anyway, btw.
are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?

Nominate Tierce for best Replacement in: http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... 3#p4006943

Even though town ultimately loss, Tierce effectively gave them their only hope by shaking up the gamestate and outing two scum
with a single post
from the dead qt after being immediately killed upon replacing in.

You might want to tweak the Outstanding Mish Mash Game description. It uses the phrase "Mish Mash Moderator" twice, and I believe it is referring to two different things.

Nominate Darth Yoshi for Best Mechanic/Mutation for Red Wall Mafia.

http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=21410

The idea is that certain town's people could gain abilities if they successfully sought out certain other town's people at night. I like that it adds a dimension to the analysis of players because of the high numbers with night actions.

While it wasn't the case in Red Wall Mafia, I think this idea also has the potential to create interesting interactions between a game and its flavour.

For body of work awards, are all games by a particular person considered, or by a particular account?

For a public alt, I would say by a particular person is fine.

I think the general process for body of work awards is that those nominated are asked to send in links to any games they played in. If it's a public alt, then they can submit that. I don't know how hydras are considered, however.

I'm torn on this. While I agree that the mechanic itself is interesting and has potential to be quite entertaining and modify the game in a positive way, I'm a) not positive that it's totally original (it could be, I'm honestly not sure), and b) more importantly, I don't think it was well-executed on the Mod's part. DY has heard my perspective on the situation already (it's in the Dead QT and game thread in post-game discussion), so I won't re-hash it here.

I have seen "seeking masons" where they are confirmed to each other and get a QT if they connect, so for sure the idea's not entirely original, but to have it happen on the scale it did in that game could be.

As far the implementation goes, I agree that it could have been better, but I felt that it deserved a nomination because the idea has a lot of potential.

the scummies are like a complete joke anyway.

People care about this crap? These awards have almost literally nothing to do with actual mafia skill.
