Hang on a second... you said the rage was fake.

The rage would only be fake if I were scum. You can't tell whether or not it's fake.

Basically that is a null point that you tried to put forward as a scum one. In your last post said that the implications aren't 100%... you have no way of knowing whether or not my actions were fake, and you basically acknowledged that. So why is it now considered scummy? It could be either, couldn't it?

Rage
is not 100%.
Fake rage
is close to 100%. Distinguishing between rage and fake rage is not 100%, but can be brought well above chance given an expenditure of effort. And, as you should have noticed, I expended little effort after Day 1 of this game.

andrew94, do you have anything to say? You've been pretty terse today.

I say that Packbat and I should cross vote and then you hammer the scummier one. Seeing as your towniness is the only thing we can agree on. That way the chance of a quickmislynch isn't as likely. Want Packbat to confirm this first though.

I want andrew94 to explain his thought process - the order of voting doesn't matter.

I'm curious, though: AcRv, you have said repeatedly that you believe andrew94 is towny. Why haven't you voted?

Belated (and probably irrelevant) question:

acrv's defence of pack;s cases against him is that he did not point those out until today.
However that means nothing as pack says he has not been paying attention

Pack, why was shotgun not scummy to you.

I asked because Daylight Saving Time began on March 11 in New York, Boston, Washington D.C., and California, and therefore 10 PM EST is 9 PM EDT. I don't think it will come down to the last hour, but if it does...

At the time, came off as genuine anger, which is something I didn't expect from scum. In retrospect: probably should have.

I did. In retrospect, that was a bad move.
At the time
, I wasn't thinking that a scum player would react to being threatened with a lynch on Day 1 with anger - it hadn't occurred to me that that could be just as frustrating from the scum side of the fence as from the town side.

Sorry, would have gotten on earlier but had a poorly timed performance. On the bright side being told on multiple occassions to play quieter is always a good sign you're doing well.

For Packbat's earlier point, I hadn't voted because generally speaking I just don't like voting in high pressure points of a game. Every time I'd be either the hammer or a L-1 vote I tend to be hesitant. Even if it is necessary, I just hate high pressure situations...

In the next post, Andrew, you basically just said "someone said something so it's true".

Looking at the big threatening deadline... considering my lack of free time for the rest of today and tomorrow:

VOTE: Packbat

I might be able to get online tonight (and will make an effort to be able to), but knowing my luck that will be the last time I'll be able to if I can.

No Lynching Town was at its end. Everyone was dying every night, the fish were drying up in the ocean of freeze. The final three members knew that there was still one red hot i-mafia left. It was one of those days were it seemed to get hotter and hotter every moment.

Sweat dripping down his forehead, AcRv was holding is line. The paradox of the ocean was represented perfectly by the dichotomy of outcomes which might stem from his pull. If he pulls out a steamy mafia, then the ocean will return to clarity and peace.

If he pulls out another block of ice; if he pulls out the town; if he pulls the trigger; if he kills his friend, the town turns to chaos and a dearth of happiness. The heat is coming up on his neck, he can feel it. He really doesn't like the feeling of the sun, he wants it just to end, can he pull at the right time? Is it luck or is it a fishermans' secret?

BANG!

When he opened his eyes, all he could see was steam...

coming up from the water.

Packbat was a
Vanilla Townie

Due to endgame-rules, the mafia have taken the No Lynching Town over!

The team of andrew94, drmyshotgun, have won Open 385! Congratulations.. a well fought game.
[/align]

In my opinion, both sides put forth a strong amount of effort. Though of course some activity issues did occur, it was more the pace of the game.

Andrew94: Either I misjudged you when we first played together or you have much improved; even if you hadn't won, I would have been with a completely new outlook on you. Good job man.

Andrew94 looked like he was just playing both sides on the final day, which would be what I would have told AcRv and Packbat if I could (though perhaps moderator hindsight is what let me see this).

I don't like doing town MVP/scum MVP, and I'm not 100% sure who I would give it to, so I don't want to commit to something I'm not completely behind.

I loved the environment of the game. It was cool, calm, and very civilized. I wish all my games were like this, you guys look like a lot of fun to play with.. I wish I was in this game.

I can't say that I don't understand why Packbat/AcRv were on each other, so don't feel bad, you guys played well. If petapot hadn't been killed, I think he was on the fast track to killing andrew94/drmyshotgun, but hindsight is 20/20 huh?

I know some people don't like to post scum QTs, so I'll leave that to andrew or drmyshotgun to decide.

Well played andrew, well played. Didn't see that twist coming...

Overall quite an enjoyable game, probably one of my favourites on site, day one aside.

I was figuring it out at the end, there. When there are two people going hammer-and-tongs at each other and the third guy is just standing there? That's problematic.

Of course, he wouldn't have had that luxury if he hadn't snowed me completely for the entire game up to that point. Good job, andrew94! And drmyshotgun, for that matter!

That was funny. You aren't the first though, Whiskers' quickhammered herself in a Normal I played with her as scum (she was the final scum too).

She probably would have won if not for the quickhammer. I had made a big case on her initially, but she threw me off the scent just before the quickhammer (which was in the middle of a dispute with another person who she was throwing of the scent).
