fyi tammy has no history of reading me correctly but then again very few people do
this is the part where i'd post my scummy but it's not on lost butterfly (I just wanted to mention it tbh )
i don't actually think i look particularly town (but i tend to look more town as scum). i'm having a hard time sinking my teeth into the game. getting scumreads is really hard. i think it's somewhat due to the set-up, town know there are more people playing AGAINST their win con than with it and mostly due to the other factorsare you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Cool, given the amount of room town had to manoeuvre I'd say this was mostly balanced. They had some strong prs but could easily get screwed in terms of mislynches, so yeah.
Also me and Seacore are currently working on ADWD Mafia (HINT HINT SEACORE)are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

You were chaotic though, right?
It definitely felt different as Lawful, there was a strong desire to NOT be killed fmpov, as we were already 3 down when I replaced in. So being a bit more annoying/weird to try and dodge that seemed like a good strategy early on.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Sure, which requires skill. Doing it without reading your role pm...requires nothing. See the difference?are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Yes, it's useful to *you* the individual, I guess. Bad for the game, though. And obviously completely unethical. (the former, can't help people 'forgetting', but I question if that's actually possible if you put any thought into the game)are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

By very definition, they don't. They drop things we may think are scumtells, so our scumhunting is flawed.
A person who has not read their role pm isn't playing the game - they can't drop scumtells, even if they're scum.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

I know there's a difference. I just don't see the big deal of your first few posts being without knowledge of alignment.
You don't think going ~2 weeks without knowing your alignment is a bad thing for the game? If everyone did it day 1 would be pointless.
What if someone goes a whole game? What if they're a power role? Why allow it for just one day?are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Well, it seems like that to me? I mean I am sure it's useful...but on the other hand if you think 'Cool, scum pm' half the fun is trying to play naturally? It just seems tacky and I don't get why anyone who thinks their scum game is good would use it?are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

It's not really semantics, it's an important difference. The goal is to detect who is scum and town from the bullshit, you can't do that with someone who's not read their pm.
Also why should it be okay for a few posts and not a day, then? Like WOAH WAIT I FELL DOWN MY SLIPPERY SLOPE ARGUMENT but still it makes sense.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Why would you want scum to be helped at the start of the game? Removing any usefulness from the 'RVS' is a bad thing.
It's not a semantical difference, I don't think. BUT OKAY. here: this'll helpare you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?
