The Family Reunion

Don Franky Garzelli owns this beautiful and magnificent villa in Northern Toscane. He doesn't see his relatives very often, so he decides that it's time for a family-reunion. He and his wife invite 11 other Garzelli’s to come to his castle to eat, drink and feast. Some are in the business and some have found jobs in more legally areas of society. You are also invited.

The following week, the family-members arrive in Toscane and are welcomed by the Don and his wife.
You go to your room to prepare for dinner at the Dinning hall later that evening. When you come down you see a crowd of 11 people gathered in the Dining Hall. They all stand around a body, covered in blood. It’s Franky! They killed Franky! One of the Garzelli’s finds a CIA-badge lying near the body…

The death of Don Franky Garzelli must be revenged.

Anyways, sounds like Gaspode and Untrod Tripod didn't understand the scenario. The mafia are the townies and the CIA is the mafia. The CIA killed Franky. It seemed odd to me when I read the scenario; I double-checked with the mod and it is so.

The family (just to use a different word than "mafia") doesn't get to talk at night and wins if it roots out and kills the CIA (who Kerplunk confirmed to me as having the traditional "mafia" role). I'm just starting, but it was real obvious to me to check when I was named as family and not given names of other family members to PM with about who to night kill. Either Gaspode and Untrod Tripod are CIA and should be killed, or are not very smart and should be killed.

I'm wondering about that first night, which was deadlined and then extended. Perhaps the CIA just weren't getting their votes in? I'll note that Boo is the only player to not say hello yet.
