Problem I have with Charter Scum is I would have expected Charter scum to have gone full-on against me, and given Yosarian's advice and my end-of day comments it would have been expected of me to vote Charter without much questioning?

I am somewhat paranoid of being deceived by the piles of flavor of this game.

Well, I need to reread a bunch. As far as the two kills, I think shos was a SK. His claim is so fishy, night actions fail on him, he's bulletproof, he's a survivor. Maybe he could only kill on even nights and on odd nights he was immune to night action? I have to see if that actually adds up, that's just off the top of my head.

O, how I wail at my inability to savor duck cooked in honey and garlic, beer made from bread laced with the aroma of dates, and the odor of the cedars of Lebanon. I continue to be amused at how this takes up over a full line now.

High levels of paranoia, despair of having lost the Scummies for not looking into every possible scenario + toying with the idea of an anti-town role sending delayed kills.

So there are five possibilities on N1:

1) Both the vig and the scumteam targeted Elmo
2) The Vig targeted Elmo, the scum targeted shos
3) The Vig targeted Elmo, the scum targeted Vi who was protected by Hiraki.
4) The Vig targeted Elmo + delayed kill?
5) The scum withheld? - Unlikely.

1) Scum Kill + Town role that gets killed if targeting Mafia?

I really don't think shos was SK, I don't think this game would be properly balanced with a Mafia team composed of more than 2 + an SK. I base this on the assumption that if shos were SK there is still one mafia left because the game isn't over.

Caution implies something less than full faith in The Computer, and while it may not be

outright it very likely qualifies as Insubordination.

Other than that, I guess my question is what's making you paranoid. As for delayed kills, while I can see the appeal in it there are a few arguments that suggest that that's not what's going on here. Consider:
*There is nothing in the flavor to suggest it. Delayed kills are such a nonstandard mechanic that I would expect flavor hints at it, ESPECIALLY in a game that has so much flavor running around it like this one.
*Recall that Nuwen pointed out that I had very likely survived two kills, on Night 1 and Night 3. Night 1 is admittedly speculation, but considering the other option is that both non-Yos2 killers (there have to be two killers at this point) targeted some combination of Elmo and shos, it's pretty likely. Night 3 is a pile of duck cooked in honey and garlic, which I can't have by the way. So at least for the Mafia, it's unlikely that they have a delayed kill.
*It doesn't explain the lack of kills numerically.

I want to bring up the extra-shot scum idea again, but my idea for that one was Yos2-scum, so etc. TBH I don't know if we're going to get a clean explanation for the kills.

As for game balance, I'm still holding to three scum and an SK. The SK is there for two kills; the three scum are there because we have seen a TON of Town power wander in and out of this game. In addition, I'm really quite sure that there are not both one scum and an SK left in the game for reasons mentioned previously. I don't really like the idea of shos-SK either based on a bunch of things, but I can't think of any other theory that really makes sense.

Only thing I have off the top of my head is Vi has totally faked her role. The PR doesn't fit at all with the rest of the game and is just some wacky thing she made up. The rest of the role really just sounds made up too. Vi must be some sort of ninja untrackable mafia, but obviously you can't claim that, so she had to make something up, similar to what Nuwen made up. I also think that Vi is making up the part about the urn's breaking and slowly killing her. The mod told me in the PM there were four urns, and I think Vi used that to try and strengthen her fakeclaim.

To say that I'm Mafia pretty much ignores my entire relationship with Nuwen, who as I recall saying was hyped up as a really super scumhunter before the game and not someone I'd want to bus.
I'd like to bring up that I would never come up with this kind of post restriction myself, but I concede Nuwen's claim kind of blows a hole in that one. I would still like to bring up that I cannot taste duck cooked in honey and garlic and I can't smell the odor of the cedars of Lebanon and I can't drink beer made from bread laced with the aroma of dates. I'm a flavorcop. I get some cryptic clues about someone's name flavor. It's why I was in favor of the massnameclaim yesterday, so I would have everyone's name to verify against. Night one I investigated Furc, last night I investigated Vi. Vi is a mummy like she claimed. As far as I can tell, my role is totally useless.

4) Here's my claim.

As the mummy I wander the halls at Night, practicing my moonwalk for the big surprise Thriller party on Thursday. I can choose a floor and I might find something of use, but I'm told that which floor I choose may have farther-reaching implications. I chose Second Floor Night 1 basically at random and got a scenic tour but that's about it. I tried First Floor Night 2 but got little more than attacked and sent back to my sarcophagus with a bit of a rough attitude. I tried Ground Floor last Night and got a visitor I was able to chase away before they broke all of my canopic jars. That's why I believe I was the target of a kill. With that said, being without most of my internal organs leaves me with a silly post restriction as a memento of the affair. But post restrictions are fun; I can make bird humor as we lynch the fowl villain I've been trying to get DEAD for

three and a half Days now

Oh, before I forget, I was raised up by a mysterious power of some kind. Which sounds like what shos claimed, hence that one line of questioning D3.

because I have no clue what is going on in this game and I'm not going to be the one to blow it.

Night one I targeted Furc because I thought his vote was suspect. I was told he was a young woman with brown curls. She was reclining and wearing some sort of dress of which I need to google later.
Night two I targeted Vi, I don't remember why. It was just a description of a mummy, it game me his height and is laying down wearing linen. Four vases are next to him.
Night three I targeted Yos, because he wanted me to verify his claim. He's a young woman with short hair. She is in bed, and has a gun by her side.


This supports his claim. I think his pic is of a woman.

I still think Shos is incredibly suspect. His claim is suspicious and his way of trying to discredit my claim reeks of self preservation, but I'll try and read some with a clearer head.

Also, I will most likely be V/LA until Sunday some time.

Vi mentioned the jars first than you did, though.

On the one hand:

- Vi's play feels more pro-town than Charter's so far. Looking at her interactions they don't seem to come from a potential partner.
- I don't think a partner would have comfortably agreed to comment on BOTH their team-members on D2 (See post 1258)

On the other hand:

- Why is she still alive? Specially after claiming to have stopped at least one death?
- Vi could be a Ninja? I would say however Nuwen's flip as Mafia Phantom makes it it's more likely for her to have been a Ninja, perhaps?


Charter:

- I don't think Charter is lying about his role. The fact that he mentions Vi having specifically four vases when she hasn't mentioned the number plus having confirmed my role flavor seems to demonstrate its veracity.

However:

- ViScum would have expected me to be more inclined to vote Charter over her?
- If, Furcolow's role made him an ascetic, like Nuwenscum claimed however, then Charter's result on Furcolow could be questionable?
- Chater has lurked most of this game and has not been active in the scumhunt at all.
- Charter accuses Vi of inventing the broken Canopic jars. Yet Vi mentioned her Jars first than Charter. He could have wiki-ed the information?

When I saw that Yos2 was dead I was worried that this Day would be short and painful (fitting in with all my other LyLo experiences :/ ). Rest assured that given the option I would rather have Yos-"IT IS NOT Vi"-arian2 here over someone who has been voting me on and off all game.
