A generic "best hydra player(s)" actually sounds like a decent award. It can be given to the hydra of two players that worked together the most to help achieve their win-con. Two people that cooperated the whole game and presented good results, such as lynching scum or protecting other town players, or as scum successfully being manipulative, etc. With any luck, an award like this might even encourage people to stop making garbage hydras and actually try?

Modding hydras I think wouldn't be included and can just keep being considered for best mod anyways.

Morph the Cat is practically my main. We're not the only hydra that has become that way.

"Blast from the past" maybe? Older vet players (At least 3 years old) who came back form an extended break and had a great game?

Also that it should probably be only available in your first like, 2-3 years of active play on-site

Winnow down the awards, upgrade the amount of vetting and quality done. Something like this, blind and not looking at previous awards or categories:

For Players:

Best overall town play
Best overall scum play
Best overall Other Play
Best collective play (Both towns and mafia teams could win this one, single game not overall)
Best Newbie (Aka rising star, formula as discussed earlier)

For Mods/Meta:

Best Mechanics
Best Flavor
Best Site Contributor

Site is not the same size as it was in the heyday, and that mans less folks willing to sit down and slog through thousands of pages of games to collect this stuff.

Why does "kodak moment" need a scummy, for example? I'd rather a thread where we come together and celebrate all the worthy ones informally and talk about the cool shit that went down like the boomer-site we are.
