Open 411: The game of C9++! (Game over: Town Win!)

Got a little bit of time before I hit the hay, so I'll touch on some things.

1.) First of foremost, I want to again extend my sincerest apologies to you, OhGodMyLife. I hadn't changed the "L-1" notifier next to your tally, and I must've only read that instead of counting the votes when I included the last one. I certainly didn't mean to cut that short.

2.) Secondly, that was a ballsy move, NS. It is a shame that it didn't work, though, as I think that had it did, you two could've wrapped up the game. I'm somewhat surprized at how easily Panzer got lynched, but that just shows how much I read things when I'm modding :p

3.) Lastly for now, it was really interesting for me to write flavor as if this was a game show, and I think that the large amount of enjoyment I got from writing the flavor really shows in it. I am sorry for not getting chamber's and alduskkel's NK flavor done, though, as I was either tired or too busy to write any.

What a weird game. NS really screwed the pooch there, although Panzer could have done a lot more to not get caught.

Glad to have played with you guys... although some of your playstyles are questionable (*cough* absta, mastermind, kondi, NS, maybe chamber). The fact that there were about 4 doctor claims but only 1 doctor speaks volumes.

Thanks for modding VM. In the future, though, please be a bit more on the ball about votecounts. The OGML lynch was very frustrating for me, and I was worried at the end there when CF Riot accidentally hammered. Also as someone who lurked at times I think you need to be better about prodding people.

Reading the dead QT (which I never got for some reason, but no big deal) I see that apparently the Mafia no-killed on N1. Any reason why? Mafia QT would be nice to see if NS and Panzer don't mind.

Hmm...guess I missed you, though for you other thing I only include the town who lived there. Obviously more than them won :p

As for that, it was more or less an oversight on my part. I'm usually pretty good at avoiding those kinds of errors (others...not so much). Prodding IS a problem for me, though, I admit.

As for the N1 no-kill, I never recieved a kill PM or bold in the Scum QT, so by default they no-killed.

Secondly, Panzer, I'm sorry. I thought I could force through the 1-Shot Doc thing. But I didn't.

I have no objections to our QT being posted, so I will let Panzer do that if he wishes.

Questionable play, Ald? I just tried something new, added to the fact that I had low activity. I decided to scumhunt at LyLo (which, since I thought we were in LyLo on that day, should have shown me as town when it was revealed there were two scum). I actually think it worked wonderfully, as I latched onto the scum easily because they weren't trying to hide from me.

I liked the game.

My claim was out of the blue, but good thing you guys pulled it off. Surpisingly the N1 no-kill made me confident i saved Psyche, and i continued to think that after they killed him right after I was out of the way.

Good Game town, good game. Props to Absta, even though you wanted to rip off my head while i was alive, your Panzer and NS reads helped town win i think. Kondi was super obv town btw..

GG everybody. Tough break for NS and Panzer. Without the fake claim, who knows. You both had suspicion of different degrees from different parts of the town, but you may have been able to wiggle out.

Absta no offense but you were painful to play with. From my experience running gambits as town usually draws more attention to yourself than to anyone, scum or otherwise, "caught" in the gambit. Still, play how you like. This is just my two cents.

Venmar, my only advice is to hold off claiming early as a PR. Considering Psyche as conf. town this game ended up helping us, but as we found out, that really wasn't even the case. I also think had you not claimed and survived for a few more nights you could have made an even bigger impact.

acfan you should lurk less. Kondi, I don't know what to think about you cause in a way your strategy worked. D1 and 2 I thought you may be a PR, which is kinda what you were going for. But I'm saying right now, I had planned on voting you over ac if Panzer was town. But he wasn't so... good job! Ha.

I haven't read the dead thread yet but, did mastermind ever explain why he faked doc?

Kinda makes sense since in this game PRs should not counterclaim early on, so there wasn't too much risk of outing other docs. OTOH, as we saw, the fact that counterclaims aren't as big a factor means that the claim gives you less protection.

No, the town of everybody except me (and well NS and Panzer obviously) won. I just did nothing all game except be totally and completely useless.

Honestly I never wanted to lurk, but after being called out for terrible play several times during the game I lost my motivation to play (since obviously nobody wanted me here) but refused to request replacement, since that wouldn't have been fair to the mod. There are a lot of half written posts which ended up being discarded because I either 1) started to write something I thought would be insightful/considered scumhunting but it wasn't or 2) got interuppted by something else in my life and lost my train of thought. Iwas banking on my mathematical method to help me actually figure out how to play Mafia but since that sucked I abandonned it.

I'm sorry I wasted everybody's time. Good luck to everyone on your future mafia games.
