This word "gambit," I do not think it means what you think it means.

"Why did you hit yourself in the face with a shovel?" "Oh, it's a gambit."
"Why did you jump off the bridge?" "Oh, it's a gambit."
"Why did you drink bleach?" "Oh, it's a gambit."

Yeah I'm fine with my blacklist.

My logic was correct
'Others' don't see it as correct
I should reevaluate?

I mean it was obvious Yellow and Snake had no clue town had qt's. Reread that section, after that I knew town were doomed as if that didn't get a lynch nothing would. So just tried to force the wagons I wanted but Bridge didn't post -> town couldn't win -> ruined game.

I was trying to follow that argument while watching the game, but it made no sense to me. It's an open setup, the fact that town has QTs is right there in the sample PMs. I didn't see why you thought they didn't know. Even looking back at it now, I don't see it.

If that resolved somehow I'm forgetting how.

Does not Answer

Sign 1 that they have no clue.

In post 520, Slandaar wrote:Trying to pretend you don't have a qt?

Implying town do not have qt it reads as 'are you trying to pretend you are town with no qt?'

Sign 2

In post 528, Slandaar wrote:Yellow explain to me why Snake asked for an exact start time if he doesn't have a qt to post in?

Implying again town do not have a qt 'If snake does not have a qt, why did he need a start time?'

Like why if they knew, did they not say 'we have a qt'

Again they do not pick up on it

I literally nailed them to the wall and town derped around with the 'well the pms are on page 1' but... who actually reads the pms on the first page? noone.

Slandaar, seriously, I had no idea what you were talking about when you were talking about the QTs. Had I realised you were asking "what did you and Snake talk about in your QTs" I would have answered "secretive lover things".

And I did read the PMs, or at least was aware that everyone got a QT before we started. Honest to god. Game's over now.

Sland, those are your attempts to trap them. But they never worked. Yellow just talked about other things with other people. If they had denied having a qt sure.

It was a good try, but it didn't work and you should have just dropped it.

You really need to realize your arguments don't make as much sense as you think they do.

Also did anyone have an interesting pre-game lovers qt?

My original partner never posted in ours, and grey replaced him after it got closed. Kinda boring.

OK so you were just scum who knew I was town and reacted in a completely 100% scum way to what I was saying due to perfect information ie knowing I know town have qts

I mean those were the only 2 possibles, there was 0 chance of being town after that zero.

I disappeared d2 pretty much because I was in a bit of a miff not only with Salamence move but a similar move done off site. Which is part of the reason, as well as focusing more on certain other games that were going on.

What bugs me is no one checked to see if I had a point about Arugula's scum meta.

Sal, we could have had this game D1 if we hadn't gotten distracted by your "Gambit"

I would suggest judging gambits in the future to make sure they are an actual good idea...

In this set up Town Gambit's are HORRIBLE.
All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.

I checked arugulas Meta, I didn't really agree with you though.

We were all upset about sally, but we didn't give up.

Town win if bridge gets replaced 2 days ago
I almost guarantee it
Which is why its so annoying.

I would have voted Aru over TAM as Aru was very very likely Yellows buddy. I only leave vote on TAM as I know if Bridge fails to show(and I expected him not to show) town cannot win without bussing and there was only one wagon with bussing potential.

Yeah I kind of fucked town over through my activity. I do apologize, but there were numerous factors irl that made it difficult to go online.

I was so convinced Grey_Ice was town I let scum things nya did just slip by unjustified. So props to Grey_Ice. Also Slandaar has a really fun playstyle. Also I'm now more in favor of LAL, including myself for parts of this game.

Slandaar sometimes you latch onto relatively minor things with great accuracy. Once you sink your teeth into that, you should never let it go

sorry i read that and got confused. I was referring to eating my hate if you and Nya were town. At least I know that my town reads are still damn good.

Also, I think if I join mafia games I have to be able to do it where bursts of activity are appropriate, since that's what my schedule allows for.

I hate to recommend it, but maybe hydra? If you have some solid confidence in your reads, and you can follow the thread erraticly, pairing up with a player with a more balanced schedule to work together is probably the best solution. There's very few games where a short burst of hyperactivity once a week is appropriate.
