You are in a Jungle. As opposed to a jungle. There is a difference, didn't you ask before taking this trip? No? Oh, well. Too late now.

Aside from the normal eating of people by the lions, there has been some trouble with people vanishing. well, their heads and limbs vanish. Sometimes their feet. Odd.


Your task, should you choose to accept it (who am I kidding? you're here, you have no way out, what

else

are you going to do with your time? Read a book? Yeah, that'd be fun): Find whatever is tearing people limb from limb. Destroy it.

General Rules

2) I am the Mod thy God. What I say goes. If you wish to point out a mistake, please PM me. VC corrections are fine in thread.

9) I will post votecounts as often as possible. You will get

10) If you somehow have the ability to edit your post, do not.

Player Activity

11) Prods will be issued somewhere between 48-72 hours of inactivity. If you feel prods aren't going quickly enough, let me know.
12) If you are prodded: You must respond in the thread within 48 hours or you will be replaced. If you require a second prod, you will only have 24 hours to respond before a replacement is searched for. If you require a third prod, you are subject to replacement.
13)

Deadlines and actions and such

14) Days will have a three week deadline; extensions will rarely be granted, and then only in extenuating circumstances.
15) If activity severely lags, I may or may not institute a shorter Day deadline. You will have at least 72 hours notice should this happen.
16) Night deadlines will be at least 72 hours. Do not ask for a shorter (or longer) night phase.

Death and other matters

17) No-lynch requires a simple majority.
18) If the required number of votes is not reached by deadline, there will be NO LYNCH.
19) Lynching requires a true majority of votes from the living players. Every votecount will have the number alive and the number required to lynch.
20) Once a lynch has been reached and it is Twilight, everyone may talk until I post the death scene and lock the thread.
21) If you are night-killed, you are allowed one "Bah!"-type post. No game-relevant content allowed.

Miscellaneous

22) I reserve the right to modify these rules if necessary. Any rule changes during the course of the game will be clearly announced in the thread.
23) All site rules apply. If in doubt, ask first.

In my games, I don't even bother having the players confirm at all. I send the PMs and start the clock until I have to prod them.
It lets the tactical lurkers lurk, and the people who like to hit the ground running and start swinging, to do that.

He was the last lurking player.
He said he likes to allow non in thread confirms to allow strategic lurking.
He is bitter about lack of ability for town to hit ground running.
He votes the mod and disappears.

So he thinks town should have been allowed to hit the ground running, admits he may be strategic lurking, and then lolvotes and lurks again.

So either he is a hypocrite who doesn't care about the day starting in order to help town.
Or he's admitting to being a strategic lurker - in a setup where that means so very little as to be laughable.

Either way - death.
