You are a Vanilla Townie. You have zero night actions. Your strongest weapon is used during the day and is your vote. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Rules

The Moderator

- The moderator reserves the right to alter any rule in the game including any of the rules found in this document.
- If the moderator makes a mistake on a vote count, please address it in thread in bold.
- PM the moderator with other concerns.
- The moderator has the final say.
- Do not post blue, or shades similar, as I will be utilizing it.

Gametime Outline

- Days will last 2 weeks (14 days)
- Nights will last 2 days (48 hours)
- Times will be in PST (Pacific Standard Time; Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc)

Honesty and Cheating

- In all interactions with the moderator, you must be honest.
- Do not contact any player in or outside of the game about the game unless specifically allowed to by the moderator. When allowed, only do so in the specific manner allowed.
- Do nothing that would be considered cheating.
- Do not try to find loopholes in the rules. The moderator has the final word.

Gaming the System

- Do not screen capture your role PM, or manufacture it in any way which would make it surely real.
- Do not attempt to use a system of robust cryptography, etc. Do not use small or invisible text to attempt to avoid detection.

Activity

- If a player does not post for 72 hours, they will receive a prod
- If either the player does not pick up the prod for 24 hours, or the player receives three prods, a replacement will be sought.
- If you know you are going to be absent a particular amount of time, post in game and PM the moderator that you will be V/LA. Please include the date you plan to be back and posting.

Lynching

- Each player gets a single vote to use during the day that they may change as many times as they wish to vote for any player which must be in bold
- Players may vote for "No Lynch." If at least half of the players vote for a "No Lynch," the day ends without a lynch.
- I do not require unvotes when switching votes, although I highly recommend that you do so.
If at the end of the day, no one has reached a vote number equal to (1/2) + 1 of the remaining playerlist, then the day will end in a no lynch.
- Once the lynch threshold has been reached, no more votes will count, however everyone including the lynched player may still talk until I lock the thread.
- The day does not officially end until I close the thread. As such, the deadline in each votecount is 'tentative' and votes will be accepted until I close the thread or a lynch has been reached.

Behavior

- Harassment of an individual player is NOT permitted. It is the nature of the game that players will be antagonistic toward each other at times. However, it should always be kept in the spirit of a game.
- Always play to your win condition.
- Do not discuss ongoing games in the game.
- Do not discuss this game anywhere else with anyone else.
- Claiming to be scum with someone else will result in a modkill.
- If anyone gets modkilled for breaking the rules, they will turn into a Neutral Survivor (at mod discretion) for all purposes and will lose the game. Day will also end immediately if they were town-aligned.

The only random vote in RVS is the first one. Everyone else then reacts to that vote and makes a decision with some (albeit very small) amount of knowledge. You reacted to that first vote by deciding to not vote, then voted on someone who didn't jump on a quick wagon, then went on the attack.
