I'm pretty sure that was Boyz II Men. They chose Fu Man Skeeto as the name because "Boyz Fu Men Skeeto" sounded too much like they were selling out.

Seriously, though, I had a sister who was a preteen in 2001, so I know my boy bands reasonably well. The actual answer is N*Sync.

Yeah, just like I thought.

Antagon, what mountain is actually a dormant volcano that last erupted in 1707?

Mount Fuji is right.

It's $4,750 to $1,250, round 3 tomorrow.

Monkeyman, you get to start round 3.

The grid, for reference:

Simple question, Blastoide:

Can air vibrate?

Posted: Thu Jun 27, 2013 1:44 pm
by Blastoide
PRESSURE! Why'd you gotta say it was simple?! I'm like hyperventilating now... AHH!

I'm going to have to go with no. Air cannot vibrate.

If it didn't vibrate, it wouldn't exist. X gets the square!

Xalxe, what was the name of the pet dragon under the steps on "The Munsters"?

by doctorwho
...oh yeah, Xalxe isn't here. JMJ, I'll let you pick another panelist (Blastoide included) to answer for Xalxe.

It was a stereotypical pet name. I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure it was Spot.

Did you know that BOTH of the cars the Munsters drove have their own disproportionately-long Wikipedia articles? And one of those cars was only in one episode? There is no joke here; Wikipedia authors are that sad.

EDIT: I just realized that sounds like I looked up the answer on Wikipedia just now, which I did not. The fun fact about the Munster Coach and the DRAG-U-LA drag racer has been one of my go-to fun facts for about a year now.
