I felt helpless against the rampant inactivity. Dunno is it was just the playerlist or something I was doing wrong.- TheIrishPope

Nononono it wasn't something you did; it was a combination of the playerlist's playstyle and Town being scared to act towards a plan
Sorry Desp, I agreed to raise the activity here but I got a scum role great game Desp!- evilpacman18

not even the playstyle of players or town fear. I hate to say it, but it was definitely the player list's general incompetence that caused it.I play piano and competitive Smash 4 under the tag EPM- evilpacman18

Are you ready to believe that we have to punish lurkers now? That was completely terrible. In post 211, evilpacman18 wrote: sthar this isn't 2008, lurking isn't a scum tactic anymore.
I had Flench pegged as the doctor, which usually also means scum. I really thought pacman would flip scum because his play was so harmful to the town. Completely called TIP.- evilpacman18

One can only do so much in such a short time.
Imp was kind of obvious but there you go. A lesson to not just lynch the weakest players over and over.In post 721, Slandaar wrote:If I had to guess scum its Flench/Imp/N64 but I don't exactly think MD is town... more weak player which I am unsure about.
Imp says Flench read on Wolf was legit? Hilarious. He is just coasting along which as an experienced player he should definitely not have been doing with this bunch. Its VERY weak play if he were town; hes not; hes scum.
Now, we are lynching Flench, stop just voting the weakest players and vote scum.- sthar8

N64 and Flench were hardly the most criminal lurkers and tybalt was replaced with one of the most active players in the game.
Meanwhile, MD, Feel It, me, RC, jon, and lucky2u, the biggest lurkers (I did try, to be fair to myself) were all town.I play piano and competitive Smash 4 under the tag EPM- Desperado

Like I said, two things doomed the town this game: inactivity, and bad PR play. The 1-shot Vig shot the JK night one, and the BG never used his ability.
Props to Sland for nailing the scum team in like half a day phase before getting murdered.
I actually thought D1 went pretty well for the town, and had theo not murdered AJ and then flaked I honestly think town would have won.
What do you guys think about me not counting weekends towards prods? At certain points it felt like everyone took that as an opportunity to disappear over the weekend, which routinely killed momentum. Would you keep it that way or modify?
Speaking of, any other comments/criticisms are welcome.
Thank you all for playing and congrats to TIP, N64, and Flench on their win--it isn't enough to just get lucky, you have to be able to capitalize when town makes mistakes, and they certainly did.- TheIrishPope

I think it was just the playerlist, I think that if you followed the weekend prod thingy with other people it would be alright; and scum really took advantage of the situation- evilpacman18

I'm okay with releasing the scum QT.
It's grown "normal" for weekends to not count toward prod(site-wide), but obvisoly the town itself should punish players who take advantage, as honeslty, its impossible to keep a train of thought credible when the other players jam in 2-4 days of other talk in between.
As a fun fact I played day one from aserialkillervanilla townie point of view since my role pm didn't contain the names of my partners.
The only big contention against the mod would be the defeintion of no lynch. I see that games in the normal queue that don't state that anything about it in setup must allow it, and that it should be the amount of players needed to make a lynch impossible. Meaning that whenever there is an even(2,4,6,etc) player count no lynch should be 1 below normal lynch.
Of course, the mod has final authority.- Desperado

N64 almost got replaced for prod-dodging and tybalt got replaced with obvscum who had 24 total posts. Flench almost got lynched for inactivity day 1 and once his posting rate improved, he appeared scummy enough to get him killed. The town lurkers just prove that the behavior needs to be disincentivized for both alignments, which your suggestion of "lol i hope they replace" does not accomplish.
There's no point in arguing it with you, pacman, but your bad play effectively lost the game. The lurking town enabled it, but a good town leader could have won the game from your seat. You put in effectively no analysis, went whole days without generating content whilst bitching about how boring the game was, alienated the obvtown md to the point that his lylo vote on you was inevitable, and filled the thread with meaningless noise posts.
Basically, the scum weeded out all the town skill and left you in a predictable lylo of your own making.
@ Desperado- You did a great job as the mod. Scumteams should probably be in their pm, though.
@ N64- Were your day 1 incomprehensible posts intentional? Your scumchat and later posts are wayyy easier to read.- evilpacman18

I had to be incoherent day 1, since all of my posts had a tone of finality, I was at risk day1 of being called scum for "strecthing the truth or making a case as I went along", since my reads would have been too strong for the amount of content I was drawing from. Basically, my accustation might not make sense, but you can see that it has a lot of feeling behind it, so you wonder where I'm coming from and re-read the person, not noticing that you've been primed to see scum behavior more easily.- Titus

You're letting Titus win the game by herself.Good luck now I guess. You have no chance to win.~Tywin
