Unsurprisingly, I blew it. Not the whole 'get girlfriend in Spurs shirt' thing, but the 'get girlfriend' part.

If this weekend is going to turn out anything other than miserable, I need Norway to win 2 gold medals tomorrow and Spurs to beat Sunderland 4-0 or more. Tomorrows match is the kind that we've lost far too many of over the last couple of seasons, and the reason why we've finished 8th-10th instead og 3rd-5th.

Our biggest rivalry is with Sweden, but they've been performing miserably in the latest winter olympics. Getting there, but still no real competition. Check my Olympics thread.

Spurs lineup today: Robinson, Stalteri, Dawson, King, Lee, Jenas, Carrick, Davids, Lennon, Keane, Defoe. Quite pleased with that team. Mido on the bench, having just returned from the African Cup of Nations.

We didn't impress anyone today, and were lucky to get away with all three points. This means we're still fourth, we need to improve for the tough games to follow, though...

For those of you not too familiar with English football, staying in fourth place is very important because it gives the opportunity to qualify for next year's Champions League.

Cool. Can I join? I'm actually a die-hard AC Milan fan, but the Spurs are my favourite EPL team (i.e. the only one that both doesn't suck and that I don't hate).
