3. Don’t make any posts that may even remotely look like mod communication. If I edit a post, I’ll sign it.
   
4. The only places outside of this thread you are permitted to talk about this game are in mod-provided quicktopics.
   
5. Don’t quote private mod communication – this includes but is not limited to role PMs, night actions and anything posted in a quicktopic. You may paraphrase these things, however.
   
6. If you’re unsure whether something you post could count against the “playing to your wincon” rule, think about how you would perceive it if someone else made the same post.
   
7. Personal remarks and insults are not welcome at all. There is no problem with criticising how others play
   in this game
   , but as soon it goes beyond that line there will be one warning before I start force-replacing.
   
8. If someone is modkilled, their alignment will change to “neutral survivor” and there will be no chance of them winning the game, even if their original faction does so.
   
9. I reserve the right to change rules at any time, including while the game is ongoing, although there will be warning in-thread if this happens.

10. If a player does not post in the game thread for over 48 hours, they will be prodded. After this prod, they are given a 24 hour grace period to make a post – otherwise I will start searching for a replacement.
    
11. I will keep track of the number of prods given to each player. If a player has received three or more prods, I reserve the right to search for their replacement if their activity does not pick up.
    
12. Please post V/LA notices in-thread at least 24 hours in advance of them starting.
    
13. Game days will be at most 2 weeks long, unless a replacement is required within the last 48 hours of a game day.
    
14. Game nights will last 48 hours.
    
    
    
    Voting Rules
    
    
15. When making votes, please use the vote or bold tags. For a vote (or unvote) to be counted, it must be at the start of a new line.
    
16. Unvoting before voting again is not compulsory.
    
17. If one player receives a majority (at least 51%) of votes, they are that day’s lynch and any further voting/unvoting will be futile.
    (Players - including the lynchee - may still comment after majority has been reached and until the mod locks the thread.)
    
18. If a majority of votes is not reached before deadline, there will be no lynch for that day.
    
19. Dead players may make one “bah” post after their death. This may not contain any game relevant information. Once the mod has declared the game over, anybody may start talking in thread again.
    
20. Voting no lynch must also reach a majority before the day is ended early.

Ain’t nothin’ gonna stop you! Reform school; schmeform school! You’re a rebel without a cause! Fight the power! Walls can’t hold you in! Where ever they want you to be, that’s where you’re not!
Except that’s all probably quite tiring.

(You’re a Non-Consecutive Commuter. At night, you may PM the mod saying you want to skip town for the night. Any actions targeting you that night will fail. You cannot use this ability two nights in a row.)

bodyguard

You’re just doin’ your job, directin’ traffic when a little old lady walking her cat (!?) wanders out into the middle of the street. You do what any self-respecting police officer would do: you run over save her life. Unfortunately, while you’re off saving old people from themselves, no one’s directing traffic. Next thing you know, a car speeds through the intersection and runs right into you. The last thing you notice before you die is that the old woman and her cat are perfectly fine.

(You’re a Bodyguard. Each night, you can PM the mod the name of a person you wish to protect. If they are targeted for a kill, you will die in their place.)

If something happens to you, you’re gonna tell people about it. Since this incident, though, you’ve been very focused on remembering
