In a nutshell: There is town and mafia. The town has some protection roles, but no cops or masons. One townsperson is a sympathizer who can be recruited into the mafia. Nightkilled roles are revealed to the mafia only.

There are 2 Blockers:You are aDoctor. Every night, PM me the name of someone you wish to protect. You may not protect the same person on consecutive nights. You win with the town.
There are 4 Townies:You are aBlocker. Every night, PM me the name of someone whose night action you wish to block. You may not block the same person on consecutive nights. You cannot be blocked by another Blocker. You win with the town.
There are 3 Mafia:You are aTownie. You do not have a night choice. Sorry about that. You win with the town.
There is 1 Sympathizer:X, Y, and Z areMafia. You can talk to each other at night. Every night, PM me a target and which of you will attempt the kill. If you try to kill the Sympathizer, he will instead join your team. You win when only mafia are left.
You are theSympathizer. You do not have a night choice. You currently win with the town. However, if the mafia attempts to kill you in the night, then instead of dying, you will become aTraitor, a full-fledged member of the mafia.
The game starts in Day, so that the town is guaranteed three Days at least.
If the mafia do not specify who is performing the nightkill, I will assume "X" is doing it if he is still alive (see the role PM above), else "Y" if he is still alive, else "Z." I'll never assume the Traitor unless he's the only one left.
Mafia cannot "no kill" two nights in a row.
A Doctor cannot protect the Sympathizer from being recruited into the mafia, but a Blocker can block the mafia member performing the action and thereby prevent the recruitment.
The roles of nightkilled players are revealed to the mafia only.
A Doctor who attempted to protect someone, but was blocked, will be told they were blocked. Mafia are not told why a kill attempt failed. Blockers and Townies do not learn if they were blocked, since it has no effect on them.
Doctors can't self-protect.
When the mafia recruits the sympathizer, I will not tell the sympathizer/traitor who is in the mafia. Mafia members are free to reveal themselves to the traitor if they wish, and talk at night as usual. The traitor can PM me messages that I will deliver to the mafia at night, and vice versa if needed. The traitor will not learn, from me, what mafia's night moves are, even if he performed the kill attempt himself. The mafia can instruct me to allow the traitor this info if they wish.
