As for my own part, graduated college, went to law school (in my final year now), continued to not have sex, toppled the Tyrant mith back on 11/11/11 and ushered in a new age of Mafiascum, shepherded the flocks through mith's revenge attack that took down the site for MONTHS and erased months more of material (luckily the 11th Hour was able to prevent Wiki changes from going back further than 11/11/11, preventing further calamity), finished a bunch of shows (RIP Gossip Girl), turned 25, learned fencing, got Pokemon Black, got Pokemon Y, dismissed one friend and gained about five more, taught myself to cut my own hair since professionals do a shit job of it.

Tsk, tsk for not finding a cure for cancer. Slacker.

As for me, I am currently in graduate school, trying to learn how to make video games. It's fun but it's up and down in terms of stress and I'm pretty busy, so as tempted as I am to /in for a game I will pass for now (if I'm not like banned for life for abandoning some games). I owned a small business for a while but it failed.

man, I remember playing in games, I remember modding newbies and dragon mafia which I unfortunately left, but it had all sorts of ridiculous crap in it. I remember during my freshman year of college hanging out in Scumchat because I hadn't really met anyone yet. I remember putting a game in WSOGMM during my junior year. I remember I was super excited when I got invited to my first invitational and I felt really bad when I had to leave because I just did not have time to play.

I remember playing dethy, and hearing about how people hated it. I remember "training" TheStatusQuo while Fritz "trained" Sarcastro. I remember when I played a game with PeaceBringer and he annoyed the hell out of me and then when people like Fritz and kellychen and BabyJesus were playing the same way and it annoyed the hell out of me and then I finally got over it.

I remember looking up to a lot of people like MeMe and Mr. Flay and yaw and jeep. I remember Narninian (aka STD) introducing me to this game and I remember being a newb with nonny and Rolandofthewhite.

I remember spork. I'm just going to leave that one at that.

I remember talking to big_kahunia about going to PLU and having him meet up with me and my family while we were touring the campus, much to the chagrin of the tour guide. I remember seeing B_K and PJ and Phoebus in Seattle and hanging out for a day.

I saw Tamuz on campus every once in a while, but I remember finding out that we had mutual friends who went to my high school. I also remember meeting a guy who went by DelVar in my drama class and finding out he was on the site.

I remember my brother trying to play and getting frustrated. (Ozymandius, he had a sword kirby avatar. 100 points if you remember him).

I remember spending time in my classes going onto mafia scum, particularly my computer classes. I kind of regret that because that's what I'm doing with my life now, so I probably should have been learning, and I just went home and went back on MafiaScum anyway most days.

I remember that people looked up to me and thought I was at least okay at this when I had no clue what I was doing most of the time. I cannot recall specific victories or defeats, brilliant moves or otherwise. I wish I could but I cannot.

As I look through the forums I remember these names like Untrod Tripod and Mastermind of Sin and Yosarian2 and I try to remember in what context I saw them, whether we played together, and how they played. It becomes harder and harder since it has been probably three years since I was here last.

MafiaScum was a big part of my high school life and much of my college life as well. It's weird to think of how a community of strangers across the world playing games with you can have a big impact on your life, but eventually you get ingrained into the community. I know I was trying to achieve a high post count and I was up there in the top 20 posters for a while. I checked and I still have on average more than 1 post per day even though I was gone for like 1000 days.

Maybe over the break I'll play a game or something.
