It's not like you can control what day a holiday falls on.

(I get what you mean, I'm just pointing out that it's kind of cheating. I think we just recently implemented the same thing here.)

It's still celebrated on the day, but because we then lose our saturday/sunday, the monday becomes part of the weekend. (best effect is christmas on a saturday for boxing day to then make tuesday a public holiday)

Looked like a decent list though, plenty of good hip hop in there. Was hoping Smiles Don't Lie would get higher, but it's good.

I'm in Canberra now btw.

Though yes i think he might have (i think i remember laughing at the name), though he is from vic like me so whether they went to one in sydney isn't one of the things i'm knowledgeable in.

Your university has the Melbourne Unicorns. And there are like 5 community teams in Melbourne.

Dude, the ANU team is mostly ex lacrosse players that lost funding and needed a new sport.

All of the Perth males used to play Volleyball.

Shit's intense. Imagine European Handball mixed with Dodgeball mixed with Oztag.

I think last time a survey was done, 60% of Australian players hadn't read a single Harry Potter book. And that number is rising. I know a whole two people that play for Newcastle have read at least one of the books or seen all the movies.

Okay, bumping this up slightly for a bit but I'll be in NSW (Sydney namely) at November 18th for 3 days so was wondering if anyone wanted to do a day meet then? Not sure what would could possibly do but it's just to gauge interest for an Australian (short) meet.

How is this a good thing?!

By which I mean: the rich fiction is probably the interesting part of all of this. It's the "running around on pretend brooms" bit that's awkward. At least if they were fans I'd understand why....
