common acronyms used?

hello everyone, i am new here, and i've seen some acronyms that i can't begin to guess at. there's FOS, which i've learned stands for Finger of Suspicion (i think). i think it would be a good idea to make a list of these for new comers, if there isn't already. if there is, could someone post a link for me please?

another couple i've seen were something like OMGUS and EOSBC.... i know those are most likely very wrong, but that's the point
