Like struggling to find a reason after finding a target, and that already-used phrase came to mind first.

Hello let me read up

All caught up!
1) I suck at town, and am always lynched Day 1. I just find it odd that TN got so many votes already. I don't see any real issue, maybe because I know my role and am biased.
2) Played with TN before and they are normally like that. Aggressive and easily ticked.
3) I'm passive.
4) I laughed at Marquis' entrance. Something I do, but not THAT much.

I hate quoting because I never get the format down. So would you guys like for me to give a quick read on everyone or actually use quotes and respond to 11 pages of stuff? I don't want to waste my time repeating stuff you guys already know.

More than anything else, I'd like to hear your reads and cases. Who's scum?

Ugh. Providing cases requires quotes or me summing something up and making a small mistake. Will do it tomorrow, its time for bed. Will try not to make a wall of text when I do.

Okay do your cases tomorrow, but what about your reads? What are your reads after reading through?

Ok I am caught up and ready to play. My initial thoughts upon reading through. A side note, this game has had a lot prods and replacements. Easily the most player turnover I have seen in a game.

CooLDoG- leaning scum. He sat on his not_mafia for most of the day until recently without really pushing it or expanding on after he said he was still happy with his vote. I also don't like that he was uncooperative at some points even though it was over relatively simple requests.

Marquis- null. Marquis posts confuse me. (although found it hilarious when she voted herself)

Not_Mafia-slight town. He has had some not needed comments like the bear joke I like his push on TN.

BearClaw-slight scum. Mainly because of his post 75. There was no reason to make that vote.

RachMarie- leaning town. Her posts look town oriented and looks like she is genuinely trying to find scum.

neil1113-null. Not sure about neil from his posts so far.

snscompt1-leaning scum. The scum feeling is because of TN. TN posted a lot of fluff the was unnecessary. The leaving because of spam doesn't look good to me after post 53 where he seems to be joking around about spam posts.

ZZZX- slight town. Has a town feel to his posts, not so much that I think he is super towny. I just really haven't seen anything I would call scummy.

Which alignment do you do your entrance like marquis usually?

this is exactly why meta is bullshit. It makes it permisable to defend scum and get away with it. No, being scummy will never mean someone is town ever. Period.

Is this the style these days? Give us reads quotes or no quotes.

SO that means every single game I played so far I was scum.? Didn't know.

Not that I am even playing scummy at all but eh.

Except he's
not
being scummy, and it's not just a meta read. Part of it is me knowing that there's a language barrier which makes his word and phrasing choices sound initially awkward or off-putting, and knowing in the past that it's made people question his wording in similar ways.

Once you get past that, you can see he's consistently active and not lurking, pushing for activity and discussion/read elaboration, and completely engaged in putting his own reads out there. There is nothing scummy about that, and the lack of hesitancy and his openness make him obvtown.

So get over not liking the way he made you all confused (not! even! a! scum! tell!) and move on, because you're not lynching him.

not feeling as confident about my read on marquis as I was on ninja.

For a 2nd suspect, meh it is a bit difficult which is why I want clarification on the replacements.

not really seeing the case on either Neil or Cool Dog, both seem too out there being noticed to be scum. I would expect scum to be laying low a bit at this point in the game. I know I could be wrong of course and of the two, Cool Dog feels more scummy than Neil.

Not seeing the case on zzzk I think hes probably town too.

I don't like the tn/sns lynch, for the record.

I do like the idea of a BearClaw lynch, if there's any other support.

I dont know if Cooldog was trying to put the wagon on me or just trying to help town. But sounds more like opportunistic scum. Not sure so I will give it a while.

By definition doing something scummy is something that scum do. Therefore it is logically impossible to infer a higher likelihood of someone being town from scummy posts. ZZX makes scummy wishy-washy posts therefore he has a higher chance of being scum.

Scummy posts are scummy. As tautological as it sounds bullshit meta arguments are penetrating into games that have one think otherwise (Scummy posts are not scummy).

ZZZX's recent posting strikes me as nothing more than awkward. It has done nothing to diminish my townread on him.

CooLDoG's most recent post was completely evasive of the point Marquis was making to the point were out of context it wouldn't even look like a reply, and distorted it in to a meta argument when it was simply saying English is not ZZZX's first language.

Rach scumread is odd, curious to see where that comes from

Why? Looking through your ISO, your only case is that he pushed a town-read of yours and the way he phrased his words made your town-read out to be more scummy than he really is. Am I correct, or is there more that I missed?
