Should admin activation be turned off until this problem is fixed seeing as the memberlist IDs records over 100 disappearances recently? Or am I not understanding this correctly?

It probably should... but I have hacked in a requirement that the note to admin be filled in... so if we turn it off (I tried) then it will keep telling people that I think they are a spam bot.

Temporary work around in place. If we get a bunch of spammers, we'll need to revisit this... Makes me wonder what else isn't working.

I have a friend who is experiencing dificulties with signing up. The username he is attempting to use is NuklearPoweredFenris. If you try to create an account with that name, it says it is taken, but it doesn't appear on the memberlist. He can't log in and says he has already sent e-mails.

I didn't get the e-mail. Also, it won't appear in the memberlist until authorized.

When was this, though? There is no activation required now...

I'm fairly certain mine did immediately after I registered it. Anyways...

I don't know the date or the general timeframe, but it wasn't recently. I'd guess it would be somewhere around several weeks ago.

Hey, my sister, who is under 13, tried to create an account here, and suceeded, but when she got the activation email, it didn't show a place to fax or mail our mother's permission to. There were spaces for the fax and adress to go, a la Fax:______ and Mail:_____, but nothing in the slots.Her account name is "beezee".
