Before Carmine is lynched I'd still like to hear from BigK on his investigations. Who he investigated each night, and what the album names are. This is all information that we can use in our night choices.

Refreshing the list
BK=Justin-album finder outer
Dirge=Britney-role blocker
JereIC= Christina-??
nard= Jennifer-??
myself=Elton-not telling ^_^, but have an ability
Carmine=Fiona-no ability
ZA=Eminem-looker
Jolle=Madonna-no ability
unvote: Carmine
, just for the sake of getting a bit more info. JereIC and nard, do you have abilities or no? I'm not asking for a role-claim or anything silly like that, just if you do or do not have abilities. If we have a vigilante remaining as well, if we coordinate things tonight, we should be able to wrap things up nicely.

I have an ability, but I'm afraid I'm not a vigilante.

I also have an ability and am not a vigilante. I say we have a mass role claim tomorrow. And I'll be happy to start. But I'm not going to reveal my ability until tomorrow.

i think the two people claiming no ability are the mafia. it just seems odd to me anymore to have people without abilities in the minis. i say we off jolle or carmine for that reason, but i will withold my vote for informations sake

Okay and I don't lynch replacements ^_^ (on their first day at least), just a metagame thing I am staunchly against. I agree it is strange that there are 2 people without abilities, but at the same time we have no idea what abilities (or lack thereof) stupid and PBuG had.

So what are the common roles in a mini
Cop-BK and ZA
Doc- myself
Vigi-one of the dead likely
role blocker-dirge
Why come out now, well I intend to self-protect tonight, but because my protections are not foolproof (i.e. only work 90% of the time), I did not wish for the mafia to win on a fluk happenstance, i.e. claim doc due to roles not being revealed (I think the lessened chance is in compensation for the single time that I can self-protect, it makes sense in a game balance manner). I'm interested in JereIC and nard's roles, but having them remain secret should help tonight, so I won't ask. I think once BK answers Dirge's question as to which albums he found first and second night, we should be ready to end day. I would suggest that BK check Jolle tonight, s/he is likely the only one that that ability might be able to discover anything about imo.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that it is possible that PBuG or stupid_ also didn't have an ability; I think Carmine is scum, so it seems likely they both didn't have an ability. It would be very odd if I there were only one or two roles without one.

No, but
I
know that I'm innocent :P I'm hardly going to vote for myself in the fact of that, am I? Add in to the fact that Big Kahunia supports me, I'm at least more confirmed than you :P

It seems that the number of unconfirmed people is pretty limited, and so no matter what happens, by lynching them all (me included) we guarantee a townie win (if there is only one killer/killing group left). I suggest we start with the person least confirmed by other peoples' evidence.

I would have posted sooner, but my home internet is having difficulties.

Anyway, Dirge the answer to your question:
Since we have had three nights, I have investigated three people. One per night.
Night 1: In Carmine's record collection you find an album called "Forever"...
Night 2: JereIC has a album called "Stripped".
Night 3: nard054 has an album called "Waiting for tonight".

Stripped is clearly by Christina Aguilera, with songs of fighter, beautiful, etc...
I remember when "waiting for tonight" by JLo came out. I believe in the late 90s.
I posted artists w/ the album Forever on the last page.

yeah could you do that please carmine. Not that i dont believe that he may have posted something that supported you, its more that i just dont believe you are who you say you are and are taking advantage of BKs logic.

It happens sometimes where an info townie can misinterperut or mis post what they actually think and end up "clearing" a bad guy. For proof, see the recent shadyville mini in which the "wannabe detective" (me) was the alibi of the serial killing roll blocker (meme). its always fun when you get to live to the end of the game only to find yourself dead at the hands of the second most innocent person in the game.

I did a little research into Carmines claim. There is a Fiona with an album titled Forever but, it's not Fiona Apple.

I think that JereIC is J.Lo because an album title search confirms that.

Stripped is a little more ambiguous. The album title "Stripped" also belongs to the Rolling Stones and a Swedish heavy metal band called Pretty Maids. Christina A. is a good bet though.

That's good enough for me, Dirge.

Vote: Carmine

And I really am Christina, not J.Lo.

Interesting, meh was going to vote, but since Jere did it, no need. Hopefully that is it and Carmine is the last of the mafia, but if not it just comes down to who is the most believable and with 3 investigators (looker, album searcher, role-blocker) remaining, even if there is one left, I think the game is essentially over. ^_^

Final Vote Count!

Carmine (6) - big_kahunia, nard054, Jolle, ZONEACE, JereIC, Dirge
Jolle (1) - Carmine

The Hollypop townsfolk decide that Carmine is definitely the most suspicious. They build a bonfire and tie Carmine to the stake.
As the flames rise they hear a cry… "It wasn't supposed to end like this! It's all gone so horribly wrong…."

Carmine "Ozzy" Osbourne, the leader of the mafia, has been lynched. Let me just check my notes.… oh yup, s/he was anti-pop.

And with that, the game is over! Well done Pop Stars!
