Rules (Originally taken from Open 12. Modified heavily.)

1.) This game is nightless. Day 1 will begin as soon as everybody has picked up their role PM.
2.) During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes must be in the form Vote: Player otherwise they won't be counted. It is not necessary for players to unvote before switching their votes.
3.) When a player reaches a majority of votes, they are lynched. I will reveal their role, and the game will move into the next day. Players can still talk during "twilight".
4.) If discussion is lagging or the day is dragging, I may set a deadline. Only half the normal number of votes will be needed to lynch someone at deadline. If there are two or more people tied for most votes at deadline, the one who reached that number of votes first is lynched.
5.) No talking to other players, dead or alive, outside of the thread, unless your role permits it.
6.) Once dead, you stop posting. A "bah" post is fine though.
7.) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
8.) Try to post at least once every 48 hours. Treat the game as a committment. If you go inactive, you will be replaced.
9.) I'll try to post votecounts every page. Feel free to ask for a votecount at any time. I may make mistakes. Don't be afraid to point them out.
10.) Don't quote any PMs you recieve from me, under penalty of death.
11.) Avoid excessive profanity, flaming etc.
12.) Have fun!

Game-Specific Rule

: If the Godfather of the mafia dies, the goon dies too.

ROLES

MAFIA

You are a member of the mafia. The godfather is XXXX, and the goon is YYYY. If the godfather is lynched, the goon dies as well.

You win when you have eliminated all non mafia roles, or when nothing can prevent this.

TOWNIE

You are a Townie. You have no special abilities.

You win when all Mafia and the lyncher have been eliminated.

LYNCHER

You are the lyncher! You are trying to get ZZZZ lynched. They do not know that you are out to get them.

You win if/when you lynch ZZZZ.

IMPORTANT

It has come to my attention that the town also has to lynch the lyncher to win. It was my mistake that this was not originally included in the rules as well as the townie PM, and I am sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. I will update the rules/roles in the second post with this change.
