Spoiler: Voting Rules

1. Votes must be bolded, and in the format of
   VOTE: Player
   , using either the bold or the vote tags. Abbreviations, missing punctuation, and misspellings will be accepted as long as it is obvious to me who is being voted for. IMPORTANT: If I perceive it as a vote, it counts as a vote, even if it doesn't follow these rules exactly!
   
2. Unvoting is nice, but is not necessary.
   
3. You may vote to No Lynch, that requires the same number of votes as a lynch vote. Or you could just let the day run out, and in this game, I suppose that's likely to happen.

5. All living players, including the lynchee, may continue to post until I lock the thread.

GAME-SPECIFIC RULES

1. Each game day is divided into 48-hour segments, as in the next post. Your slot may post once, and ONLY once, in each segment.
   
2. If you post more than once in a given segment, the first penalty is loss of your vote for that day. (If that's during LyLo, the onus is on you, not me.) The second penalty is modkill, where you will be removed from the game as a Neutral Survivor, and the day either ending or not ending depending on what I feel is worse for your alignment. So don't do it.
   
3. If you fail to post within a segment, you will be prodded. I will begin seeking a replacment for you if you fail to post before the end of the segment during which I sent the prod, if I have to prod you for a second time in the same game day, or if I have to prod you for a third time in the entire game.
   
4. If you post before I have announced a replacement in thread, you will be allowed to continue playing, but if you require another prod I reserve the right to replace you instead of prodding you.
   
5. I may waive a replacement's need to post during the segment they replace in depending on how much time remains in the segment. Any such waiver will be announced in the post I announce the replacement.
   
6. If you will be V/LA, and want to announce it in thread, that does count as a post for that segment. If you've already posted in that segment you should PM me instead. OK I've finally managed to find a time to post to this. Hi I'm Chevre and I'm cute.

First off, I think anyone who fails to post in a segment is suspicious and that won't be tolerated.

Second off, anyone who isn't really using their post to analyze the past content is definitely suspect. Y'all've probably done the math already, but we have 7 posts each (6 now) and 63 to achieve a lynch.

I do like the bandwagoning idea but Dot Matrix is a) a hydra, which splits any pressure among them and b) is self-voting so clearly they don't really care about the wagon on them. I think Bert's a smarter choice because his post is horribly irrelevant to the course of the game so far given that there were a number of posts before his.

More relevantly, I do see why you'd think that he'd be prob-town given the setup. However, I think that it's a little pessimistic to think that over half the setlist will be so apathetic as to cause a lynch that way, even with the setup. I would trust Equi, Desp, MafiaSSK, and obviously myself to avoid that kind of thing, and I would think Tammy could corral Krew enough to avoid that fate.

Overall that statement feels rather null. Gut wants to twinge me to the null-scum category, but it's still firmly null.

Though I disagree with the strength of his chevre read, I like what Desp has so far. I do also agree with his take on NS, specifically his agreement with the "not posting=scumclaim". As I said before, I think that being relatively aggressive in getting analysis out is town-looking, but saying "no content? TIME TO DIE!" like they have to compulsively post something is just bad.

(Next segment's post will probably be Mastin's. We may try to alternate who posts so long as both of us are able to do so, but don't take that in stone.)

And Not_Mafia's vote just felt very serious to me. I know it's joking matter to bring up that forum-breaking wall, but the tone of his post felt like there was a true urge to detract from such types of post.

We are just going to be of disparate ideology, it seems. Sure the first few posts were all relatively fluffy but Bert's was especially so. At first I thought it was some elaborately structured listing to make sure that he was going to concern himself with each relevant matter each time he posted but nope, it was just a confusing poem.

And I think not posting within the 48-hour segment IS something worth noting. This game may be called "Lurker Mafia", but it's more so just a very slowly paced game. Everyone is what meta would consider "lurking", and not using your opportunity to post is a great detriment to town. I think it is ultimately fishy, and I hope everyone else is waiting like I was for more content to roll in so my commentary would be more useful. If It seems I spouting "boilerplate townie", it's because I think it needs to be stressed in this game's themed format.

Much of the same as what I said to Desperado. Otherwise, I thought this post was short, but it's simply because Desperado and Nobody Special were the only two who posted in between his two posts. I think we should at least try to cycle our posts so that everyone has as much content to comment on. Nothing rigid or anything, but if we were able to make such a system work it could be greatly beneficial to the town, I think.

Bert's post was fluffy which Tammy doesn't find a problem with, Bert fluffs as much as she does >_>, but Sleepy didn't like it. Though Sleepy was just Bert's partner in Mafia with a Quickness, so maybe some hyper awareness of Bert could come from that (though probably it was just that Bert could have talked about wagoning but instead said he'd vote us and then randomly picked Equinox instead).

Sleepy hated chevre's post, and Tammy agree it sounds awkward a bit. Don't get the reasoning for Bert suspicion and someone else pointed out that the number of posts thing was a bit exaggerative. And I think not posting within the 48-hour segment IS something worth noting. This game may be called "Lurker Mafia", but it's more so just a very slowly paced game. Everyone is what meta would consider "lurking", and not using your opportunity to post is a great detriment to town. I think it is ultimately fishy,

Voided - When you said you haven't played with Tammy did you mean Sleepy? Tammy actually did agree to that self-vote. It was sleepy's idea and Tammy's idea was to say that we were posting first because we wanted to avoid giving content in the first segment. We came up with a happy medium between the two. Tammy also, shocker of shockers, told Sleepy that she'd laugh her ass off if we got lynched in the first segment because we couldn't remove our vote from ourselves. Seriously.

Tammy thinks Voided looks fine? Sleepy didn't like his post, but this is Voided's typical posting style so meh, and it was the first segment so we don't know what some people were expecting. Anyway, Tammy's admittedly not super great at reading Voided nor is she great at reading Mastin, so. Pretty interesting that you're posting without mastin atm, and the plan to alternate posts is just weird. Why wouldn't you discuss things together and post together?

We didn't like Nobody Special's post. We didn't like the oh I waited until last so I could provide CONTENT! It just felt off, and especially off from how Nobody Special often times approaches games. Tammy thinks he has really good gut instincts even though he often lurks harder than lurkerslurk. Though Tammy did like his return volley joke at us about the post being fluff and needing to rectify things (Sleepy doesn't get what Tammy is talking about and DEADLINE IS LOOMING SO). We wish he would have voted.

i don't understand why equinox and sleepy are getting their panties in a bunch over the timing of each player's posting in this segment. you all hadn't posted until 12ish hours before the deadline either so...??

@ voided: why are you still voting bert? why are you fencesitting on chevre? you say you don't agree with the strength of my read but you said you liked what you saw from him and feel safe calling him town, so how the fuck does that work?

@ chevre: if you agree that the first three posts were fluffy, why was bert not analyzing them a problem again? and why are you walking back your no posting in a segment = scummy position? i don't think anyone here will disagree that someone not posting in a segment is worth noting. and saying generically townie things because you think the theme demands it is pretty dumb considering the playerlist...i don't think the nuances of the setup are lost on any of us so ultimately i conclude that you are saying these things just to pad your posts.

@ sleepy: why aren't you voting chevre with me again? you say you don't want to make a new vote without discussing it but you said that you hated his post and tammy agreed that it was awkward so it sounds like you already did? and this also isn't the only thing you say tammy has given comments on so i guess i just don't understand why you guys didn't discuss a new vote target.

I'm in the hating Chevre's first post club, it just read as "Oh I'm analyzing and getting us out of RVS" and that and the generic comments about activity make the post come off as looking town but not being town.

I also don't like how his second post is purely defensive
