Heh it wasn't a defense on schis as much as it was a highlighting of Kerplunk. I just found it strange for someone to be making what seemed a serious push on someone during the random/joke phase. I also need to improve my sarcasm detector.

Upon re-reading the whole game (:P) I still find schis suspicious. I don't think I am going to put back my vote without hearing anything from Jdodge and spectrumvoid though -- lurking in a game this small will not fly.

Crub has contributed absolutely nothing. He's lurking in plain sight, so-to-speak.

I just don't get a good vibe from Guardian. I think it might have to do with this:

Kerplunk - OMGUS vote. Possible mafia.
schismatized - Too eager. Maybe mafia/lyncher.
Jdodge - Jdodge. The man, the myth, the legend. Obviously town.
Guardian - I am town. See my avatar.
Crub - Random voted Jdodge. Possible mafia.
spectrumvoid - Town?

I don't like people trying to analyze the random. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Kerplunk seems somewhat like a mix between how Guardian and Crub have played so far.

Schism has done absolutely nothing but with an added bonus of being overly-aggressive.

And SV has said absolutely nothing, aside from the fact that she lost really badly in the last nightless game she was in.

Jdodge, I mentioned that the above was very week but pointed to it as a way we should play when we have more to go on -- everyone making clear what setup they believe to be the real one will help us analyze things, and in so small a game I think is easy to do.

And what is wrong with analyzing the random -- the random is all we have to go on until someone starts analyzing the random.


I mostly agree with your comments on the rest of the players -- Jdodge and Kerplunk look the best to me so far, Schis little content + over agressive, Crub little content, SV lurk.

There's been nothing interesting happening this game that's why I haven't posted, I find the whole random voting phase meh. Judging by the posting activity of everyone else (including you JDodge) everyone else has found this random voting phase uneventful too. Having said that I find Shism's vote very suspicious.

This is one hell of a difficult game! How scum play, I *kinda* know. But how plays a lyncher? That one is difficult. Would he vote every opportunity he gets or would he lay very low?

Insights: all players post little content, including myself. This game has to pick up the pace. Don't know how to make that happen.

sv: I can't imagine scum posting so little content in a post as sv did in his last. Maybe wifom, but I don't think so.

crub: actually the same as sv. but I haven't been mafia myself for a long time and I don't really remember how that feels.

guardian: very active, but he seems to play that way. don't really know what to think of that.

schism: has been voting *a lot* in respect to others. But would the lyncher do something like that? And as scum? Anyway, I don't like his posts. He would be my bet for today.

jdodge: I think he is innocent. no real reasons: my gut tells me so. Hasn't said much, but his last post didn't feel scummy to me.

Hey Kerplunk. It is good that you are thinking about the game, but you don't really say anything at all about where your thoughts lead you.

I agree the pace needs to pick up -- but that is hard to do when you comment on me being very active and seem to imply that it is scummy...

SV and Crub I disagree with you on. I find them scummiest next to Schism (assuming SV is active on the site). Crub is actively lurking, and SV, for all we know, can be trying to read lyncher games to figure out how to play as one. People think lurking is scummy for a reason.

I agree with you on Jdodge for the moment. And I think you are probably town, at this point. I doubt that the game will be that easy, though .

Guardian, I didn't want to imply anything, actually. My last post was about a quick list about how I feel about everyone. Mostly gut-feeling. Not really anything analyzing, that's hard to do, anyway at this stage.

Yeah, lurking is very scummy, but I think SV and Grub are not noobs so wouldn't they know that lurking is scummy and hence not do it. Ah well, a classic WIFOM.


Anyway, how many *free* lynches have we? 3 townies, 2 maf, 1 lyncher. Ah yeah: the lyncher... So we don't have free lynches. What happens when we lynch a townie (not the target) today? We have 2 townies, 2 maf and a lyncher. Lynching the lyncher then would result in a mafia win, right? I guess the lyncher's target isn't mafia?

Yes technically we have 1 mis-lynch however if thats the lynchee then it's game over and we lose.

I anticipated only being gone the weekend like normal, but I had some responsibilities at our county fair shoved upon me, and then a lifelong neighbor of ours died shortly after that, and I just haven't made it around to the forums until now.
