Well isn't this an exciting turn of events! After years of organized crime syndicates tormenting local villages with infiltrators and saboteurs, the people are finally fighting back; the Mob has gotten word of a few pesky rats of their own. It is your job as elite members of the Mafia to find the nosy citizens and dispose of them before they take over the organization and learn all your dirty secrets.

Rules

General

I.

The site-wide rules are, as always, in effect. Please look over them if you are unfamiliar.

I am the Mod and what I say goes. I reserve the right to change the rules or modkill/force-replace players as I see fit.

This is a game. Play to win, and don't ruin it for others.

Posting and Voting

I.

I hereby reserve the colours

#BF0000

and

#000080

for mod use. Don't use them.

II.

All votes must be written in

bold

or use the VOTE: tag. Unvotes are helpful, but not necessary.

III.

All votes must be at the beginning of a new line and cannot be contained inside quote, code, area, or spoiler tags.

IV.

A lynch is reached when a majority of all players (half plus one) are voting for the same target.

V.

If a majority is not reached by the deadline, a No Lynch will occur.

Activity and Deadlines

I.

Failure to post within 48 hours without advance notice will result in a prod.

II.

You have 24 hours to respond to a prod, lest you be replaced. Regardless, three prods will result in a force-replacement.

III.

Please give notice of extended leave in-thread or via PM.

IV.

Each Day phase will last two weeks (14 days) and each Night will last 48 hours.

V.

Extensions will be given in case of replacements.

This game uses an Open setup with the following roles.

5 Mafia Goons
1 Mafia Jailkeeper
1 Mafia Tracker

In addition, the following rules are in effect.

VERY IMPORTANT.

• This game uses a Day Start.
  
• Members of the Mafia are not told who their teammates are.
  
  
• The Mafia's factional kill takes place in-thread during the day and is determined by a majority vote.
  
• Town members may participate in this vote because the Mafia are uninformed of each other.
  
• The Masons' vig-shot is a factional kill. There is only one kill during the Night.
