Since I find the SK kill reasons to usually be different from scum (and you have no one to bounce ideas off of), why did you kill the people you did when you did?I will haveLimited Accesson weekends.-

part of my issue is that i have an abnormally high tolerance for "town stupidity"
i see that now
sigh
pedit @ pv: i think this was more of an emotional fail than a logical fail on my part- i noted earlier that the evidence was pointing toward psyche-scum ("if we weren't masons i'd think he's scum" etc etc). it was like... until psyche actually flipped scum, i didn't want to believe it. i didn't want to believe that i could fuck up the core of my townbloc that badly.link in bio-

i keep beating myself up over this. there was the bomb claim, the neighborhoods, the case from pine, the pine kill, the opportunity to just crossvote house...
it's not even that mafia was in a good place, we just lost because i was too stubborn to let go of a pre-existing PoE read when it had already been proven that my reads this game were shit and to go with cold logic insteadlink in bio-

Pine was awesome as town during the time I got to see him play.
He had me cold & had to go.-

I was playing, don't be so hard on yourself.
I deep pretty hard as town because I'm clueless. In the future, just figure out if I'm paying too good to be town.-

The sad thing is that this is true of mafiascum meta right now.
1) Cases make sense.
2) Player is behaving rationally.
3) Isn't blowing up and getting into fights with other players.
4) Seems townie.
must be scum.-

Unintentionally so, it was meant as a good-natured ribbing.-

As we seem to cross paths frequently, do not expect this on the regular. I usually have a very tunnelly town game, which you saw a little with my focus on PV and Skybird. It's rare that I pull out of that tunnel enough to see it for what it is. When I do I usually see clearly.
Interesting note - in your place, I'd definitely have killed one of Skybird or Marquis. While they had several factors making them as close to confirmed Town as possible, I was possibly the softest target. I'd have set up a 1v1 between us and boiled it down to convincing the third. With what was on the table, you played a dicey endgame
It is, but it's kind of true. The unnecessary and unreasonable gambits and general recklessness hurt the Town cause, took House off the table for consideration for far too long, and generally distracted productivity. That said, everyone has off games, and the quoted post is in poor form. Scum came within a hair's breadth of losing, and landslide attitudes are unbecoming"Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

This was a fun game to watch. I really enjoyed playing with you all even though I was killed pretty quickly. See you all around.
And tbh, I totally would have lynched marquis for the mason's claim. But I really thought skybird was town. so I'm totally surprised that was the winning lynch. House did a really good job with his votes and unvotes at the end which I think kind of turned the tables on things.About WIFOM: Sometimes I just get thirsty and drink both glasses.-

I think House did well in LyLo. Bad, bad, bad Bomb claim, but did well.
Him keeping his options open should have been a scumtell but there were a lot of weird dynamics in this LyLo which made it kinda acceptable to do."i have the sickest grossest feeling that even if it's my lynch today, my townflip still won't lead to a tso lynch, and then he'll find some bullshit way to reason either shooting or lynching gm tomorrow because if there's anyone who can strongarm a mislynch despite his reads or cases being proved wrong time and again it's tso"-Marquis-

I messed up later into the game as work/busy-ness took over, in that I didn't provide VCs as frequently as I wanted to.
Will be refining the way I post in future games I mod.
The Large themed game I'm preparing is aimed at being massive, chaotic, and with some diabolical mechanics in place. House may recall USMB games #5, and #6, and others may remember games #1, #2, and #3.-

Neat. I'm in, though I'm rubbish at keeping up in larges until the population is reduced to a reasonable number. Maybe impose a wisdom of the crowds rule to hedge out players known for postspamming. They tend to kill large games"Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
