With the settup rolled and the definition of mafia, in order to make this game play anything like a mafia game, thats the wincon I had to use. Every town member was aware of it, as it went out in their role PMs

I know you said your third party but I would rather lynch scum than people with killing roles. Town and scum killing roles would likely avoid you anyway because they want to end the game faster.

I think maru didnt realize rerolling was a thing and is trying to force third-parties into being the scum because he rolled 0 scum in factions.

That makes no sense. If he re rolls he would re roll everyone so re rolling isn't a bad thing. I don't like how you make the third parties out to be the bad guys by making a situation up and Forcing the third parties to be scum in it sounds ridiculous.

Let me put it this way: if we do have an aggro scum faction, such as a two-member mafia team or a serial killer, the existence of benign third party roles can, at worst, serve to stave off the scum team's wincon, as they'd have to eliminate them too

I guess my point is that there's a big difference between 'kill-em-all' scum and 'I have a non-standard, specific wincon' third party
