The Golden Rule
~I have provided you with this thread to speak in and whatever other tools are included in your role PM. Do not use any other tool or method that I would not expect or intend for you to use to achieve your win condition without verifying that I am ok with it.~
General Rules You Are Probably Familiar With
-Site-wide rules generally hold unless contradicted here or in your role PM.
-If your role PM contradicts the rules, your role PM has priority.
-Don't cheat or do anything that you think might be construed as cheating. The onus is on you to play fair, not me to detect it or make rules that specifically deal with it.
-Don't be a jerkface. If you must attack a player verbally, attack their play, not who they are.
-Don't privately communicate with anyone in this game unless your role specifically allows it.
-Feel free to PM me about anything you'd like clarified. I'm usually pretty quick about answering PMs.
Activity/voting Rules
-Prods will be issued after 48 hours of inactivity. Don't make me prod you too much.
-Use voting tags for votes. Bold votes of the format "
vote: kagami
" are also ok. Don't try to fake vote.
-Days are two weeks long by default. Nights are 48 hours. I'll put deadline timers in the VCs as it approaches. Day deadlines and Nights may be extended for replacements.
-If deadline is reached without a lynch, the day will end in a No Lynch
Kagami-Specific Rules
-You are permitted to discuss the behavior of players who have died and flipped outside of this game thread, even if this game is not over. You may not discuss the behavior of any other players, and should be very careful if you use this. Don't make me regret allowing this.
-You may have "rant buddies" whom you rant about the game to, provided it is a one-sided conversation. Do not attempt to misuse this to solicit advice. Anyone you discuss the game with must understand that they should not attempt to replace in.
-You may also copy and paste text from your role PM and neighborhood PTs if you like, though you may not use the quote feature.
This is to be used strictly to clearly communicate information. Do not attempt to use this to "prove" that you received the communication.
-I provide full town role PMs to scum players, which are "town" down to the time-stamp. Additionally, any player may ask for a fake role PM and I will provide one, provided they fairly specifically state the desired role and flavor.
