Because you never indicated that your vote was for the survivor claim. I also assumed that you were smarter in terms of who you would decide to policy lynch.

This isn't a policy lynch, if by policy lynch you are talking about wanting to lynch someone on principle, not in a specific game-related context.

I have actual in-game reasons for wanting to lynch them!

If you're wanting to lynch them because they claimed survivor, that's a policy lynch. If they have other actions (besides the claim) that makes you think scum, then by all means, enlighten us.

@Wis: I'd rather not fully rely on that as a crutch. Paranoia is fine and all. Running against the wall screaming "The sky is falling!" is not. I trust our Role PMs to be somewhat accurate.

Regarding Untrod Tripod's cult thing, can't we all just ignore it and make sure no town people target him with an ability? I believe him and I think he is probably a townsperson, so I don't see the harm in just letting him live.

How about, "another survivor with a different win condition"?

I can't just win with anyone. I specifically can

only win with mafia or town

. I highly doubt the moderator put in two survivors in the first place (though admittedly possible), but if he did, they would have the same win condition. And They specifically stated they can win with ANYONE, which is very different from mafia/town only.

Chill Bluba, Why are you being so defensive about votes on Scum claim. Its just 4 votes.. You should remember that it require 13 for a lynch.

I don't believe this is a valid strategy. We have no idea what powers are out there and it being a Bastard game makes it all the more likely that their is switcharoo shenanigans. From a design standpoint, why make a role that has a negative target effect if there isn't other roles to screw with targeting?
