Just want to take the time to second these two films so hard. Cannot recommend these enough, especially if you like old-school thrillers.

Well, Kubrick's
The Killing
movie isn't available on Netflix IW. Or even Netflix. The Killing I've listed is the TV series (formerly on AMC, picked up by Netflix).

Second, that list is just my current Instant Watch Queue.

The Killing
The French Connection
Mulan
Robin Hood
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
Mean Girls
To Be Takei

The Rabbi's Cat
Automata
The Birdcage
Oculus
Beware of Mr. Baker

Fantasia 2000

Frida
The Running Man
The Hustler

Ghost Pain
Horns
Chef
Stonehearst Asylum
The Muppet Movie
Jimi Hendrix: Head My Train A Comin'
all this mayhem
Stop at Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story

Beware of Mr. Baker - Fantastic music doc. Ginger Baker is just a horrible nasty asshole of a man, a wretched father, and an amazing drummer. A good look into the life of a formerly celebrated and thoroughly interesting and complex person.

Fantasia 2000 - Very meh. It's not as captivating as the original Fantasia. Even some of the introductions were bad. I cringed at hearing Bette Midler describe Salvador Dali as "that melted watch guy".

To be Takei - A very feel good documentary and covers all the major events of Takei's life. But it just kinda feels glossy. There's no real grit to it.

The Hustler - Oh man, Paul Newman being awesome. George C. Scott being awesome. Jackie fucking Gleason would have stolen the show in any other movie if not for Scott & Newman. Piper Laurie was probably miscast as she just isn't on the same level and ends up being fairly forgettable. This influenced a lot of subsequent movies.

Use https://netflixaroundtheworld.com/ to find a region that offers what you want.
Use the free Hula addon for Chrome to change your region. There are other addons available, but this is the one I have been using and it has been working perfectly so far.

Looks like Battlestar Galactica is still online in the UK, you should definitely check that out because it is a series well worth watching.

There's a movie on Netflix called Thief from 1981, starring James Caan, Tuesday Weld, James Belushi, & Willie Nelson. it's Michael Mann's first film and it's awesome. If you liked Drive, you'll really like Thief since it feels like it really inspired it.

if you like fantastic 20s style outfits and scooby-dooish murder mysteries (in the sense that somehow the protagonist is tangentially involved in all the murders), Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries is fun.

Just got done watching the first season (only season) of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I wasn't that into it after the first episode but by the end of the season I loved it. It's from Tina Fey so the comedic styling is similar to 30 Rock. The show is friggin hilarious and also pretty positive and happy about otherwise dismal subjects, which I like.

Also, the theme song is insanely catchy.

And for fans of anthology horror, V/H/S: Viral and The ABCs of Death 2 are both on Netflix now. The former is kind of meh, but the latter is, I think, better than the first. My favorite letters were D, K, R, Y and Z -- P you can pretty much just skip.

Hmmm never heard of that latter one. And yeah VHS: Viral was so disappointing after the fantastic VHS 2. Hopefully they get some better directors for VHS: Snapchat

The ABC's of Death is an anthology really. Each director is given a letter of the alphabet and they make a short on it. Some of the shorts are real stinkers, but there are some pretty good gems in there in both 1 and 2.

If you supernatural genre fans don't mind watching subtitled movies, Russia has a couple of good (decent) entries (in my opinion) Nightwatch and Daywatch.

I saw ABCs of Death. I don't think the few good shorts made up for all the terrible or tasteless ones... F in particular ruined the movie but I thought that, P, H, J, K, E and Z were all really bad. A, T, C and G were probably my favorites but that movie overall was imbalanced with a lot more of it being bad than good. I hear the second is better.

Didn't think too much of it from the trailer as seemed like a lot of hype, but I watched the first (and so far the only) season of Marco Polo.

The series centers on Marco Polo, obviously, but Benedict Wong(Kulbai Kahn), Joan Chen (his wife the Empress) and Tom Wu (100 Eyes, a blind Kung Fu(?) Master) are really the characters that drove the first season. And that is slighting some of the other characters and actors. Don't know how historically accurate it is but it is well written, acted and directed and has many subplots that are being well done. Other than some of the extras, I don't think there is a non-complex character in the show.

Worth the watch in my opinion.

Just came available for streaming.

The original NCIS.

If you are a fan of crime dramas, this is pretty much a no-brainer
