XD I know but now that we don't work together anymore we only see each other at home and we spend all our time together. I'll just agree to watch his stupid civil war movie if he watches In Bruges with me. :P

The Killing
The French Connection
Mulan
Robin Hood
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
Mean Girls
To Be Takei
The Rabbi's Cat
Automata
The Birdcage
Oculus
The Master

Beware of Mr. Baker
Fantasia 2000
Frida
The Running Man
The Hustler
Blue Ruin

Ghost Pain
Horns
Chef
Stonehearst Asylum

The Master was pretty good. Extremely well-acted by Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but the story is a little meh. Story is a 1950s period piece where a drunk ex-sailor joins a Scientology-esque cult. Partially reccomend.

Blue Ruin is fantastic. Both the director (Jeremy Saulnier) and the lead actor (Macon Blair) are people I'm going to try to remember to keep an eye on. It's about a homeless man learning that his parent's killer got out of jail so he goes home to take revenge. Highly reccomend.

Not sure I'd ever re-watch Lunopolis, but it certainly wasn't a waste of time, in my opinion.

Hard to classify. Horror? Conspiracy?

DEVIL'S PASS

Takes an actual event (
The Dyatlov Pass Incident
) but departs from reality almost immediately.

Another of those that I'd likely never re-watch but not a waste of time at all.

Snatch is on Netflix now! If you've never seen it but liked lock stock and two smoking barrels you will love snatch. same director and similar style. it's a crazy ridiculous action movie about a heist gone wrong. I love this movie.

I finally got Netflix back, and BSG is gone! This is the worst thing ever.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Wow that sucks. I guess I'll have to consider owning the series on DVD or amazon instant video or something.

Couple of movies that have kinda stuck in my head that I haven't seen mentioned here.

Just want to take the time to second these two films so hard. Cannot recommend these enough, especially if you like old-school thrillers.

Watched Kill Bill. Surprisingly, it wasn't very appealing to me for a variety of reasons but it was okay.

Murder she wrote is too old (80s).

Not on Netflix (at least not for streaming in the US, I don't have a DVD plan). Don't know if it is in your country.

Nope.

Tarantino can go die in a hole with his awful, try-hard, over the top, "look at me, look how special and unique I am ripping off great people who actually came up with their own styles" bullshit movies I hate them all except Django.

Kill Bill was just a(nother) bad movie (by Tarantino). There are far better things with great female leads available on Netflix. I will take a look at the list later and post them.

Haywire was on Netflix, idk if it still is. it stars Gina Carano who was in UFC before acting but she does all her own stunts and the fighs in themovie feel really organic. Unfortunately her acting doesn't but it's fun just to watch her beat the shit out of Channing Tatum and other men. It's a fighting style I hadn't seen in movies before

Watched it already. It was pretty decent. I liked the realism in her fight scenes.

It'll be pretty challenging to post something I haven't already watched. I feel like I combed through all of them already. But let's see.
