I like anen's setup. It is PR heavy but cannot be broken by massclaim, at least not initially. It has a strong WIFOM factor involved.

They are getting done. I will have at least one category up for public voting tonight. We DO have to essentially review 30+ setups for balance so that will take some time, especially if there are any varying opinions between reviewers.

The following are the setups for the Large Open competition.
Please review on a scale from 0 to 10. A setup that you rank as 10 is a setup that you would always sign up for when possible. A setup you rank as 0 is a setup you would never play.
Remember this is your opinion of what you want to play, you do not need to rate a setup based on balance, originality, or anything else along those lines. Its if you would play it.
You may vote for setups in the category you entered, but may not vote for your own setup.

you'll probably get a better turn-out if you put the link in the top of the OP

Looks like I'm too late, and it seems a variation of my large elemental idea is up for voting.
Based on that game, I take it you can have more than two Mafia factions in Large Open games?

I'd never put more than two mafia factions in a game unless it was somehow part of the gimmick.

Votes given.
(Fortunately, the form allows players to leave out certain Setups from voting.)

I understand that if there were three Scum factions the game could swing easily due to the NKs. If there were checks and balances put in place, it could remedy the problem to some degree. In a Fire & Ice variant I once modded, the factions were not able to kill one another, and there were elementally-bulletproof modifiers placed on some Townies. This allowed the Scums to narrow their targets to being either enemy Scum or a threatening Townie. A Fire & Ice & Lightening game would incorporate similar elements. The deaths would be generically flavored, too. 15:2:2:2 is what I have in mind, tentatively, since giving the factions three members each seems way too powerful. Then again, 15:2:2:2 may be too Town-sided. 12:3:3:3 could be interesting if scum could simply kill enemy scum. Rough ideas here.

The large elemental wiki page doesn't list the result of the game which was played recently using the setup.

Elemental large is a little too luck based for me. My target will live or die just based on whether I can randomly rock paper scissors guess what the mafia/sk are killing them with?
Vanilla Cop is ridiculously good in Two Choose One. Essentially a cop who has the other PRs as millers considering all Mafia are roled. I don't know why you'd ever choose Doctor over Roleblocker as mafia.

For me I would rank doctor above roleblocker. I dont see how saving teammates are bad. I think there are better than roleblocking.

But roleblocking can also save a teammate, the only downside being if you don't know who the kill's coming from. Other than that, it has many, many more uses.

Well I created two choose one, and I am not familiar with how people would rate rb compared to doctor so I took a risk.

You should have chosen something else.

It's deliberate so people do not vote for their own.
