General Rules

1. Do not talk about the game outside the thread, unless your roles specifically allows it.

13. I am absolutely infallible. But I occasionally make intentional mistakes just to make sure if you players are paying attention. If you find a mistake point it out so that it can be corrected appropriately.

15. Any situations not covered above will be handled on an individual basis.

Game Specifics:

The name of the game is Vengful Mafia.

Mechanics:

1. The mafia can't kill at all. There is essentially no Night phase.
   
2. If the godfather is lynched at any point, the town immediately wins. (This is the only special quality of the godfather.)
   
3. If, on Day 1 only, one of the townies is lynched, this townie immediately gets to make a vigilante kill. (See Vengeful Townie)
   
4. The town does not automatically win by having the godfather killed in this way.
   
5. Mafia wins when there are at least as many mafia as townies.

Flavor:

You are a regular old normal practitioner of the Dark Arts of the Occult. You are so powerful in fact that if you are lynched by the mob, you can exact your vengeance in the form of a deadly curse to anybody you wish. This curse will kill them immediately. I mean, you could have used that gun you have at your side, but the curse is way more profound, and it does for good storytelling. Oh, but be careful as our curse is indiscriminate to your fellow occult members and for some reason you cannot use it on the 103rd day of the year of the Ox. Which, by pure coincidence, happens to be tomorrow.

Abilities:

• Talk - You can talk anytime in the thread.
  
• Vote - You can cast a vote on players. (seriously I don't have to explain this)
  
• Daytalk - You can talk with your fellow mafia at all times.
  
• Godfather - If you were to get Lynched Day 1, the game will end and you would lose.

Win Condition:

You win if your faction comprises 50% or more of the live players.

Flavor:

You had joined this group of occult by accident, and have been faking your mystical powers all this time. It's a wonder that no one has spotted you. You could not escape, for they were certain to be able to kill you with ease. You certainly cannot do this alone. Coincidentally, you noticed somebody else faking the chants. Said person started spouting Harry Potter Latin and nobody but you noticed. Not many Harry Potter fans in the occult. Considering the timing, you take your chance. You grab hold of your fellow and describe your plan. This is ideal timing as the occult lose their powers on the morrow. You are dismayed to know that your partner is a coward, if you were to fail, he will abandon the task and carry on. It is time.

That scared the shit out of you. You have been faking this for 10 years already, when this newbie spotted you. You had to admit that a trickle of piss came out. Luckily, he was in the same boat as you, and certainly, you wanted to leave the occult as well. But how. This new partner of yours surely has a plan. Something with the 103rd day of a certain year and whatnot. Regardless you agree, but you cannot do this alone. If something were to happen to your partner, you'd return to your fake life and carry on for a few more decades as such.

It's the year of the OX. This year which has nothing to do with anything occult. For some reason gives the most power to the faith and the most weaknesses. As a matter of fact, nobody knows why we are using the chinese calendar for mesuring things like this.

You and your four other members stand as you watch your Grand Master lay dead on the floor. He was in the middle of reading his tarot cards when he sprawled to a side some time ago. You guys use your mastery in reading tarot cards and notice that the cards your master had placed read:

Oddly specific for an unfinished tarot card reading. Well, the Grand Master wasn't particularly good at reading Tarot cards, and never saw it coming. You focus your withering energies, and thought to yourself: "

Damn me to be a fool, I will catch thee villian, and if I die trying my hex will and thee.

" All though you didn't know it, everyone else thought the exact same thing.
