Eh, really depends. If I was scum, very closely, because I'm rooting for my partners. If I was town, well, it's whatever.

Really depends on how much I enjoyed the game and if/how much spoilers are in the dead persons thread. If I disliked it and or all things were spoiled

If I enjoyed it and nothing was spoiled, I will likly watch it like a hawk

It depends on how much I was rooting for the team I was in. If I don't give a fuck because they played like ass, I just keep it in my bookmarks for the Game over flag.

Title should have been "...after you die"

I like to follow along to see how it's going. How closely depends on how invested I was in the game, how much is going on in RL and if I have other games I'm in that are demanding more attention. At the very least, I follow the flips and endgame.

I really think that the best course of action... is to tread lightly.

I didn't at first, but now I usually follow them and do lots of facepalming.

Here's the full thread title.

'How closely do you watch the game you we're in after your deer has gone missing?

Then why is there an A? Did you mean after my dear has gone missing? Because that would make me sad.

I was gonna answer the question, but I thought the title was supposed to be "How closely do you watch the game you were in after your dead Aunt Martha returns to the world of the living and brings to fruition all of your deepest held fears in a maelstrom of stark terror?" To which I was gonna say "not at all."

i find that my games provide a focal point, something of an eye in the storm for the tempest of horror. I tend to follow them very closely while being haunted by dead relatives

I'll watch games to see what happens but I'm not going to read things line by line

In post 0, Vampirate wrote:Thread title explains it. Generally after your death in a game, how closely do you keep tabs on it? For what reasons?

Ive only had 2 games where I died before the game finished. Ive had 2 deaths that resulted in my faction immediately losing, lynched once the day before lylo, and nk'd once the day before lylo. Every other game I lived to the end or was endgamed.

Anyway, in the two games where I had to twiddle my thumbs for one last day phase in the dead thread, I paid very close attention. I hope I never have to experience the horror of dying at the beginning of a game and then spending the next 3 months waiting for it to end because idk if I could bother to follow it at that point.

I like dying early; it’s fun cheering my friends on from the dead thread. Funner than playing.
