What does stuff such as L-1 and L-2 mean?

The L stands for Lynch, and the hyphen is a minus sign. Someone at Lynch Minus 1 is one vote away from being lynched, and so on.

How do people pronounce it? I've always wondered. Like do you say "lynch minus one" like me or is it "El one" or "El minus one" or what?

Generally I spell it as -1 and pronounce it as "minus one." But if I were pronouncing it in full, it'd be "lynch minus one."

I always mentally pronounced it as "L(el) minus one."

I always thought it was "Level 1", meaning one vote from a lynch.

You know, you might benefit from joining the Newbie Queue. I learned a lot of my terms there when I was brand new, plus people are pretty chill there to newcomers.

I do. I just say Minus One though. Don't think I've ever said that word out loud.
