1) Follow the
Site Rules.
2) During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes should be in the form
Vote: Player
or
VOTE: Player, but I'll count votes if the intention is clear and there's bolding/some attempt at bolding. Unvotes before registering a new vote are helpful but not required. Note that any attempts at fake votes will be frowned on, and most likely counted anyway.
3) When a player reaches a majority of votes, they are lynched. I will reveal their alignment, and the game will move into night. Players can still talk during twilight.
4) Days will have automatic two week deadlines. These won't be extended unless the site goes down. No majority at deadline means no lynch. Additionally, if half of all living players vote to no lynch, no lynch will occur and the game will move into night.
5) No talking to other players, dead or alive, outside of the thread, unless your role permits it.
6) Once dead, you stop posting. A single non-game-related content bah post is fine though.
7) Anyone not posting for 48 hours is proddable, though I'll sometimes wait until 72 hours depending on circumstances. Players who fail to post promptly after being prodded or repeatedly require prods may be replaced. I also reserve the right to replace people who are within activity limits but who are trying to find loopholes, but that's only for extreme circumstances and I hope not to have to use it.
8) If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a V/LA notice in the thread in advance. I reserve the right to replace people who are excessively V/LA.
9) I'll try to post votecounts as often as possible. Feel free to ask for a votecount at any time. I'll try not to make mistakes, but let me know if I do.
10) Avoid excessive profanity, flaming, etc.
11) You may paraphrase, but not quote, PMs from the Mod or other forms of private communication.
12) Do not use encrypted or hard-to-see text (including "invisible" text, text below the 50% text size option, or text hidden via BBCode.) Spoiler tags are fine.
13) I will use
when editing players' posts. Don't try to impersonate me.
14) It is
not
possible that this game has any of the following: cults, mid-game alignment changes, moderator lies that cannot be reasonably anticipated (for example, Godfather, Tailor, Miller, Ninja, and mechanics like that are generally fine. Telling someone they are a reflexive doctor when they're actually a PGO is not), secret win conditions, un-divulged non-randomness in player role/alignment generation, direct moderator influence during the game.
15) This game uses
Natural Action Resolution.
