General

• Have fun! If you aren't having fun, I want to know why, and if you're stopping others from having fun, then you'll be dealt with, most likely by forced replacement, if you're sucking large amounts of fun out of the game. Don't take the game personally, and don't flame other players. So there.

Day, Night, Twilight and Daybreak

• During the Day phase, players will discuss and vote until a player has been lynched. You can vote for there to be No-Lynch, but this also requires a majority of votes.
  
• Once the vote required to reach a majority has been cast, that person is dead. Unvoting will not undo the lynch, and the game will enter the Twilight
  Zone
  phase.
  
• During the Twilight phase, players are still allowed to discuss, but votes will be ignored. The Twilight phase has an indeterminate length of time, as it is simply the length of time between the actual lynching vote, and the death scene/thread lock. The game then proceeds to the Night phase.
  
• During the Night phase, any players who have powers which can be used at night can use their powers. This includes, but is not limited to, Mafia sending in their kill. The night phase has a deadline for actions, normally of around 3 real-life days. If you do not wish to make a choice, please send in "No Choice". If the deadline passes, and players who have a choice have not sent in a choice, all players who have not sent in a choice
  including
  those who do not have a choice, will be Nightprodded. Players will have 2 days to respond, and will be replaced if they do not,
  regardless
  of alignment.
  
• Daybreak follows Night, and is simply the period between the Nightchoice deadline and the thread being opened for Day to begin. Nightprods are sent during this time, and any choices sent during this time will be ignored.

Inactivity, Prods and Deadlines

• Lurking is not allowed as a strategy in this game, as it is highly likely to slow the game down to a halt. Any player who becomes inactive will be prodded after 3 days (weekends counting as 1), and will be replaced if there are no posts after 5 days of inactivity (weekends counting as 1).
  
• If you anticipate on being unavailable for more than a 2 day period (weekends counting as 1), then please inform us, either in thread, or by sending me a PM. Posting in the V/LA thread will not save you. Generally, absences of less than a week will be allowed, however longer absences will require a replacement.
  
• If the thread activity falls too low, a retractable deadline will be set. The deadline will be retracted if activity picks up. If the day lasts too long (and I am the sole judge of what is "too long"), a non-retractable deadline will be set. When the deadline hits, the player with the most votes will be lynched, provided that player has gained a "majority majority" of the votes (ie. 5 votes with 18 alive). If there is a tie, then votes will be removed in the order in which they were placed, starting with the most recent vote, until one player has the most votes. That player will then be lynched.

Please read the above rules carefully, as a number of factors vary depending on the size and type of the game being played.

You are a cop. Each night you can send me the name of a player and I will tell you whether they show up as guilty or innocent to you. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

You are a member of Mafia A along with your partner [ ]. You may converse with your partner at night. Each night one person may send me the name of the person you wish to kill and they shall die. You win when at least half of the living players are Mafia A, or when nothing can prevent the same.

Due to the length of time the game has taken to start, all role PMs have been resent, to ensure that everyone actually got one in the first place, and as a prod. If you had already been sent roles, the roles themselves are are assigned no differently to what they were,

except one PM since Nightson forgot to tell Thesp who was the Doc!

Players have 3 days to confirm, via PM, reception of their roles, before I start hunting down replacements.
